Sorry if there is already a thread on this but Doesnt it seem that the order that kh international games are released is: main game, side game.

Chain of memories-side

Kingdom hearts 2-main

358/2 days- side

Birth by sleep-main

What will be next(any ideas?)

Probably an HD compilation, and the KH3. Very much possible!

Chain of Memories isn't a Side game

KH3 is most likely to be the next KH game.

Either Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Volume Two or Kingdom Hearts III, Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance being an exception main game that leads on to the final chapter of the entire Xehanort Saga.

I only think Kh, Kh 2 and Kh BBS are mains games.

But RE:Coded is what I really think a side game is.

 

No Young Xahanort brought it up in ddd so re:coded actually holds more to it then some people think if you look over events in that game carefully you'll notice very important things are said that will link to future games to help make sense for example how Terra Aqua and Ven are all tied to the secret of the keyblade itself and that means more secrets then the X-Blade it could possible mean the birth of the keyblade itself

Nomura mentioned in his most recent interview that "Next game will be end of Xehanort chapter". This means kh3

I don't see why we would need another side game as KHDDD is intended to lead up to KH3 after which we would need something to ease us into the next saga (SEPHIROTH!?!?!?),

if the series will continue after KH3 ( which i hope it will!! =D)

BBS Volume II has got ot be next; Nomura said that KH3D was a "major" game like BBS, and they wouldn't go from major to major without one little side game; they are perfectly capable of leaving spoilers and hangoffs (it wasn't until re:coded, 3 games later, that we foudn out what the hell was in that letter, and despite the secret ending hinting at BBS, Days was made first. I'm not complaining, that's jsut how it is.)

possibly an HD remake of one or both of the main games. or more likely birth by sleep volume 2 since the current team specializes on mobile releases

I believe the next game will b a HD collection to that the new players can get familiar with the kingdom hearts stories

I agree. There's no way that they would mention BBS, Vol. 2 and not make anything on that. Besides, I like to see what happens to Aqua in the Realm of Darkness during the time of KH through KH2.

People always classify Re:CoM as a side game, but it's actually pretty important. Almost the entire plot of KHII is based off the events that happened in Re:CoM. Why else would Sora be sleeping in an Egg? Why else would there be "Thank Namine" in Jiminy's notebook with no explanation? Why else would the other characters suddenly remember Sora?

Chain of Memories, isn't on par with a numbered title, since Nomura stated only 1, 2, BbS, and 3D were main games, meaning on par with numbered titles or is a numbered title.

Why in the world would the next saga be about Sephiroth when it can easily be about so many more plausible things?

Remaining members of the orginal Organization 13

The Root of all Evil of Disney; Maleficent with the assistant of Pete

Restoring the Worlds back to the one Original World.

Awakening the TRUE Light that hides in the Darkness.

Pretty sure Nomura stated the next game that he will work on is KH3. BBSv.2 might be about what Mickey did to try to save them. Never know, he could be a playable character.

The HD Collection wouldn't be a game, but a series of games. Also, that doesn't count as a side game because it is just a Remake.

Probably bbs v2 or kh 1and 2 HD remakes. I dougt that it will be kh 3 there has gotta be at least 2 or 3 more games til kh 3
