Taking everything into account from what you found out in KH3D and every other game,

who do you think will be the playable characters of KH3?

 

Key points:

Sora is off in the Realm of Dreams, but this time he went with his whole physical body. Although he failed the Mark of Mastery, he is still cheerful and went off to train.

 

Master Riku became a Keyblade Master and gained new power after the journey that no one else seems to have (except for Joshua and YMX, I' not sure about this).

 

Master Mickey is still a master. He is quite intelligent and quick when talking to Xehanort. He hasn't been playable before (KH2 or 358/2 Days doesn't count because he didn't have his own story line with the game play).

 

Master Aqua is still in the Realm of Darkness. It is only plausible that either Riku or Mickey will save her because they have both been to the Realm of Darkness and managed to navigate back to the Realm of Light alone. Aqua's keyblade and armor are also in a chamber as seen in KH2:FM.

 

Ven is in the Chamber of Waking in Castle Oblivion. His heart is arguably either still inside Sora or left him near the end of 3D. If his heart is still in Sora, they will need to rescue Aqua first in order to find him.

 

Terra is also arguably a vessel for Master Xehanort or has been freed after MX became whole again.

 

Lea got a Keyblade, which is shaped like one of his chakrams blowing fire out. And then he went to Radiant Garden for unknown purposes.

 

Kairi was brought to the Mysterious Tower and her Keyblade is the Destiny's Embrace, that Riku and Aqua had before.

 

Roxas is inside Sora and he said it had to be Sora.

 

Xion is inside Sora, but Sora doesn't even know her name yet.

 

Namine is inside Kairi.

 

Also, even though Terra, Roxas, Xion, and Namine are not their own entity or do not have control over the body, could their be gameplay for them inside the heart world (Dive to the Heart)?

Great poll! Definitely want Kairi to be playable! It would be cool to see sora, riku and kairi as one playable team and you can switch between the three of them...and have special combos...kinda like w/the harry potter games but 10X better. I kinda feel that whole story line with OXIII and sora needs to reach some type of conclusion in KHIII. B/c they failed to get sora to become a new vessel does this mean they're going after someone else or b/c they chose sora...is he really suppose to be one of the 13 seekers of darkness (I mean, I know he won't be...but...just a thought) ? http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png

I think Aqua will have a really big since she promised ventus she'll wake him up and is the only person who wont lose "their memorize into oblivion"

I think KH3 is going to end it all with Xehanort. Hopefully it is the next game.

I'd think Lea and Kairi would start it off and get quite a lot of the story line in the Realm of Light. Probably trying to gather the Princesses of Light.

 

Then it switches to Sora who is in the Realm of Dreams and fight out his endeavors.

 

Then Riku and/or Mickey will try to save Aqua in the Realm of Darkness, experiencing complications through some worlds that they had to cross before getting there.

 

Then Kairi, Lea, Riku and Mickey have to go to Keyblade Graveyard immediately because some of the Xehanorts have appeared.

 

Aqua then gets Ven, after some complications through some worlds from the Realm Between, where Castle Oblivion/Land of Departure is.

 

And then, Ven's Story, which is I don't know.

 

Then an old fashion battle royale with 1on1 and 2on2's spread out through 7-13 worlds or just the Keyblade Graveyard that includes those unable to have a physical form.

And in the end, Sora gets the final story line because everyone had to self sacrifice themselves. Then he opens the door to light and frees everyone. haha

Make, at least, Sora, Riku, and Kairi (especiially Kairi) playable. Only then will money be given.

I honestly think Sora and Riku will be playable, the only ones. And while I'd love to see other characters playable, I think the story would be better with Riku and Sora showing off their epicness in one storyline together. Heck, add a two player campaign and I'll be pre-ordering it and be up at midnight to get it. Riku and Sora only is my vote.

If lingering will is not one of them then lea could be.

I think we will play Sora and Riku first. When story processes more, we obtain new characters like Aqua, Terra and Ventus. Without them as playable story cant be completed. I think Roxas, lea and Kairi are also playable. I think we could change character from save points, pause menu or with something similiar to drop gauge.

Sora will receive new drive forms, while other characters will learn new abilities.

I'm hoping we get to play as Sora/Riku/Kairi/Lea (we can switch them at will). I don't think we need to be able to play Aqua/Ven/Terra, they already had their own game. They could be non-playable allies though; like Donald and Goofy.

 

On the side, I know this won't happen, but it would be pretty cool to play as MX at some point. Like maybe in the past when he was younger, and find out why he is the way he is etc,.

Means nothing. The lack of nightmares means nothing, it was supposed to be a happy moment. Instead of his mind going in he went all the way in. If you didn't see that you should watch it again. o-o

like i said maby i would understand whats going on in the game with the ending if somebody would actually TRANSLATE the cutscenes, and untill its translated nobody knows for sure

It's pretty obvious. In the beginning Yen Sid told them that they would enter the realm of dreams through sleeping. But it's a dream they can't wake up from. Then at the end Sora enters the Realm of Dreams clearing not by sleeping but through a pathway that must've been opened after the 7 keyholes of sleep were opened.

I think the main Keyblade Wielders would be playable. Definitely want to play as Kairi and Lea!

 

It'd be a plus if we get to play around with Xehanort for a bit. It'd be interesting~

It would be... Xehanort's bad ass, I want to play around with MF (from bbs) actually and his time reversing abilities.
