SOOO, as many of you know Tetsuya Nomura mention that the Xehanort saga is coming to an end in kingdom hearts 3, do you also think that kingdom hearts is gonna drop the disney worlds as well?

I mean, its a small posibility that kingdom hearts will continue without the disney worlds....

would you still play Kingdom hearts if it dint had the disney worlds?

 

Personally i would LOVE kingdom hearts without the disney worlds lol.

Edit: what i meant when i said KH without disney world is a KH with only KH original worlds, so like worlds like Radiant Garden, Keyblade Graveyard, The World That Never Was ect.

Hmm, maybe less disney worlds and focus on other things at the most. but no disney worlds = no kingdom hearts logic = sucky game. mainly due to the fact we are soo used to them being a disney/square mix, that i'd be very sad if started putting words like halo or CoD or fable etc lol Imagine sora in the world of CoD (ill use my keyblade to save the wor-*bang* OHKO).....whilst its funny in my head, i'd not want that happen

I don't think that's ever gonna happen, since both Mickey and the others have played HUUGE roles throughout the entire series haven't they?

i doubt that they ever would drop the disney worlds. i doubt they even could, without going through some huge legal battle. but, i would still love and play the kingdom hearts games, considering i don't play them for the disney, final fantasy, or world ends with you. i play it because it has an awesome story, gameplay system, art, and soundtrack.

Hmm, if they built a story around it, probably but then again it takes the kingdom hearts logic away , they gave us disney worlds, so they kinda need to keep giving, BBS was good for that, all of them were reallly good disney worlds, and DDD have more new disney worlds, yet they haven't even touched half of the disney franchise yet have they?. the game started off being a square/disney, i don't think nomura's gonna change it, unless the fan base wanted it changed, but yeah i agree with the comment about the storyline, art gameplay music etc, aslong as they keep them, i wouldn't care which worlds they put in aslong as it fits

That's like taking away the Keyblade from Sora. Effin' weird and strange and....what?? No. e.o

You cant take the Disney, the FF characters, and all that out without ruining what Kingdom Hearts is.. I love the magic of everything intertwined and to dismiss half of it would be dischanting and chip away a large chunk of the charm of how it all works together . No ...just noooo.

I'd still play KH one way or another. But you have to realize that KH is what it is because of Disney. If it was just another Square Enix property, it would never have gotten a sequel.

Disney is part o Kingdom heart's identity. It's the reason we have Sora, as he is. It's the reason the worlds are so colourful, it's the reason why things function as they do.

Would KH be worse without Disney? No. Just different. I'd probably still like it (Though not for the same reason's I LOVE KH) but many people wouldn't.

Psh. Yeah right. Disney worlds will always exist for the very least as levels to play on--that would be quite a few original worlds, stories, characters, and villains to just make up for a whole game. Part of Kingdom Hearts is that they use iconic disney films, and they use them well. I mean, Sora's design is based on Mickey! ^^; at this point, if there was no disney, it wouldn't be kingdom hearts, plain and simple. It might as well just be called Final Fantasy XXVII or whatever. (Not to hate on Final Fantasy, just trying ot make a point, please don't kill me!)

 

Plus, let's be realy, even though Xehanort may be defeated, Maleficent is never going anywhere.

It wouldn't be Kingdom Hearts without the Disney worlds, so I don't think it's possible at all. However, if it did end up being the case that the Disney worlds were completely taken out of the series, I would still play it. But like I said, it's not possible.

Acctualy, I was kinda prejudiced because of the Disney characters and worlds. That's why I didn't play it at first. But a friend of mine insisted for me to play it. Now I see that this is a great game and wouldn't be Kingdom Hearts without Disney's interference.

I like the KH series because of the Disney worlds, but I think it would be interesting to see some more original worlds. If Nomura plans on continuing this series for who-knows-how-long, there's a chance they may run out of Disney worlds to use. However, they shouldn't take out the Disney worlds completely. KH is what it is because of Disney, but if they add more original material, it could help expand the universe of KH. All in all, I would still play it because the story has become more interesting than when I first played the first two games.

I wouldn't mind if it had more worlds like Traverse Town, Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden, The World That Never Was, Keyblade Graveyard, and Land of Departure.

But will it blend?
