For me it was KH2 so I was very confused about the story, so I played some of the other games and watched playthroughs of the ones i couldn't play and now I am fully caught up on the story. ( except for final mixes and KH3D)

I played all of them outta order .Ha! I think days was first though...Then i was hooked and got the rest of them .

I was to young when the first game came out to play it and I had never even heard of it before. I played KH2 because the box art looked cool and I got hooked on it from then on.

kh1 i was little, it was so confusing!! took me about a year to get past the tutorial bit

I had full intent of playing the series in order. I bought Kingdom Hearts first, but the store clerk messed up and gave us the disc for Kingdom Hearts II. My friend and I didn't realize until about... Roxas Day 3.

 

We were wondering why none of the characters matched up with the ones on the box, where all the Disney characters were, and why there was so many flashbacks. Ha ha ha ha.

KH 358/2 Days... ;D I was caught up with the store, I just got it cause I wanted to play a KH game ;A;

KH1 at my cousins house she was at the coliseum she got stuck on the training level so i sad id give it a go first attempt passed it easy got into the game there and then and been playing kh ever since

Chain of Memories GBA Edition.

Technically, KH1 is the first KH game I saw... my sister's ex's friend owned it, and I played it for like 2 seconds.

But I count CoM!

Birth By Sleep. I played it a little one Christmas on my cousins PSP. Saw it at Gamestop a month later and bought it. Forgot I owned it. Had my cousin find it in my room and made me start playing it. Never turned back.

my uncle was playing kh1 then i tried and now im hooked 2002 was a good year

CoM GBA. Played it a little then gave up bc the battle system was kinda stupid and I got stuck. I really didn't understand what was going on either but I tried. Never picked it back up until years later when my cousin was going crazy over KH2. I then borrowed KH1 and 2 bc I dont have a PS2 and started playing them in order, finishing CoM with more respect. (Re: CoM is cooler)

i started with KH1 when it first came out, you won't believe what i went through to get it on sept. 17 2002.

I technically started with kh1, my friend bought it when I was like 8 and I played it with him. But I didn't really get into the series untill I found kh2 at the game shop, I tried to play it, then realised I had no idea what was going on, so I ended up buying ALL ze games.
