I just recently watched black ops II trailer.. and to my surprise, it doesn't appeal to me! :(

I loved black ops for so long but this one seems really out of place!

It's like metal gear meets call of duty tbh..

  • The COD series has basically become a rinse and repeat kind of thing. Same game, few new guns and different story(with Michael Bay explosions).

  • I wont. Black Ops or any Call of Duty game isn't my sort of thing.     Like we don't have any other interest in other games besides of KH.

Unless you've been paying no attention, you'll know that CODBLOPS II (as it's affectionately known) is on sale tomorrow for Xbox, PlayStation 3 and PC. But what you might not know is that EB Games will be holding midnight launches for the Activision game around Australia. And because of the joys of time differences, the first sale in Australia will be the first in the world.

A ridiculous number of EB stores will be open from 10pm tonight across regional and city areas. You can get the full list of stores from EB Games' Facebook page.

Modern Warfare 3 still holds the record for the biggest entertainment release of all time (yes, bigger than Avatar), and EB thinks that Black Ops II may break this record, although we think that might just be a little bullish as predictions go. Still, if you're up for a sleepy start on Tuesday, get yourself to an EB this evening.

Thanks to CNET Australia.

So this first Aussie to get Black Ops 2...

Is gonna be Dchuich?

Only Sora96 would post something like this. I bet he's more excited to get Black Ops 2 than any other Aussie out there. ;P

You would have to ask him.

Roxas69 gets all the good stuff before us 'mericans and 'nadians.

Pretty common these days. Australia keeps getting everything faster and faster than ever before. I remember we used to wait a year or so for a season of a show. Now we get them only hours after the world premiere.

World domination is on the horizon

This is like being the first lucky Mongolian to get the Black Plague and spread it to Europe.

First to buy it at a store anyways, I know people who already have it.

They featured this game on our local news (I have no idea why, but I found it amusing nonetheless). They were live from Gamestop, which already had a decent amount of people in there.

I don't understand this series's popularity, but I hope those of you who do like it enjoy the game (and the day off of school you might be taking tomorrow...).

wish to take a day off school, but I have to be there for Economics. and that class is my last class period of the day.

I cant wait for this game! one of my friends in my mass media class made a video package about this game and aired it on my school's news station.

God Yes ._. xDDD

I'm not a huge CoD player, I hated Black Ops and MW3. (MW1 and 2 where great though) However I've heard great things about this game, and I was wondering if it's worth it if I already have Halo 4...

Anyone play this game yet? I don't really want to spend $60 and get dissapointed once again on Call of Duty.

I heard it was good thats all I know

I haven't actually played it yet,but I hear it's good.

My brother isn't a big fan, in fact he actually hates CoD, but he gave this game a chance and he hasn't left his room in the past 24 hours. O.O

It's a call of duty game, you WILL be dissapointed.

2 or 3COD games disappointed you, then how will this be any different? They are all the same anyway, play one you've played them all.

  • 3 weeks later...

After playing game for sometime, I think it's not as bad as I thought it would be. The game plays very nice and it has good pace. The map design is improved and I could say that it's best CoD since CoD 4 if that means anything to you. I could say it like this: If you like other CoDs then this is very safe and good deal, but if you haven't liked the other games this isn't worth of your money.

Oh yeah, I merged two of Blobs 2 threads together with my new sectional mod powers :3 Just wanted to try this out!

I'm the Jealous Type. Most of my friends have already buy Black Ops II which make me jealous. But i keep it under control... Maybe i need to strike back...

You're better off not buying it.

You're better off not buying it.

I don't know, i just don't know...

If you want a washed out, old, and generic shooter then go for it. If you want a REAL game, then I suggest Super Mario World for the SNES :DD
