Hey guys. This is the first topic I have created. so it might not be that good. This is not my first theory, I have more I will be posting.

 

Anyways let's get to the theory lol

 

Do you all remember in kingdom hearts 1, where sora vanishes to traverse town, when darkness comes to destiny islands. Well there's a woman on the left or right side of the beginning of first district. She has brown hair, and looks like she could be a islander. Also looks like she could be soras mother.

 

Then on the other side there's a large man, that could be soras father. Brown hair, looks like an islander, etc. And the young boy in the middle of first district, from destiny islands could possibly be soras brother. Plus soras hair and the boys hair look quite similar. Wat do u think about my theory?

It's a cool theory, but I think he would say something to them (or vice versa) if they were related. When you talk to them, they don't really say anything of importance or anything that would make them seem related in any way.

True. Well maybe the kid in destiny islands just didn't like sora much? Or he like the one older guy with a ball more. Idk, well wat do u think about the woman and large man being his parents

They were just Traverse Town...townspeople. They hold no importance. :

O ok. I'm still not sure, because anywhere does it say they are from travese town? Maybe all 3 I mentioned lost memories when darkside attacked the islands. Or maybe not. I knew this theory was kinda wacked lol

The girl with the brown hair says that their worlds had been taken by darkness, and now they're in Traverse Town because that's where they ended up.

And then she tells you not to ask where anyone's from because it's personal and may make the person homesick.

I doubt it really, lol. If they were related to Sora by that way, then I'm pretty sure he would immediately recognize them and all. ^^

Thanks rue. Well I went to bed amd woke up like 5 minutes ago and checked kh13 by cell phone, so I'm gonna go back to bed. I got school in the mornin.

Well I did hear the calling of dinner part. And no they wouldn't have said anything, cause like riku said we may never see our parents again, which could mean like they don't know we left, so we have to go now. Because how would anyone know where sora and riku wound up. They didn't even know sora would go to another world by the darkness

they were ppl of the town without having any relation with Sora

They had no relation then that of losing their worlds to darkness. They were just townspeople placed there to help us better understand what it is like for a character to lose their world and how they respond about it. It also states that Sora is not the only one who lost his world and that darkness exists in other worlds. Family, like someone stated in this topic, has very little importance in Kingdom Hearts, unless something in a future game proves me wrong.

Yeah yeah, family is not important in KH but why friendship then? But anyways, We all know the scene when Sora jumped out of his bedroom window before his mother called him down for dinner. It is possible that his parents came to Traverse Town, or that they might have been transformed into summoning stones like Simba and Dumbo. But it doesn't even co-exist with KH2 since Xehenort's heartless was killed and Destiny Islands was brought back to normal...wait...before Destiny Islands was brought back...how the hell did Kiari get to where Sora, Donald and Goofy were? Wasn't she in Traverse Town? If she was there, then why not Tidus and Wakka as well? Sorry for being off-topic. Just thinking out loud.

heres what i think happened:

 

(sora goes into darkness and mom looking out the window)

mom:sora!come on everyone sora's in trouble!

(famly goes in darkness and loses memory about sora since sora did not wait for them)

 

and there you go

nah, the woman in traverse own says to sora no to ask who is she, and the guy you said that could be his father is too generic, nomura wouldn't do that

and, isn't the boy in traverse town Tidus?

They are just random people....

If they really were, wouldn't they have said something? Unless you're referring to me and the twins, most people acknowledge their family.

Do you have a screenshot? Because I seriously can't remember seeing those people in Traverse Town, lol.

you know what? KH should give more importance to family

after all, most people love their families as well as they love their friends

idk but my theroy is that when sora beat the darkside the world was nothing but a triangle so maybe everyone turned into nothing like the other worlds that had fallen. now sora beats ansem and the world came back therfore so did the people and obveisly kairi probably told everyone what the hell happened including sora's mom! and then sora goes to the whole journey threw chom and kh2 and everything then he comes home and so does riku plus this is proven in kh2 when riku says "How will I face everyone, I gave in to the darkness." "Like thiiiis. xD"says sora. (sorry im in the moment) so everything was played out like it was suppost to be now any other questions i can do this with ees (just kidding, when it comes to kh i proudly say i know alot i have played every game at least 100 times)

By that time, that little piece of the island Sora fought Darkside on was the only thing that remained of it. The rest of the world was swallowed by the darkness.

Keeping world order. That means keeping a secret of the outside worlds and such from everyone else.

Uh....

 

In regards to the OP though, they're NPCs. Just plain NPCs. Sora, Riku, and Kairi were the only people who made it off the world before it was destroyed.

Family has no signifagance in the KH universe.
