I doubt it, but who knows?

I don't think so, there will always be hardcore gamers who prefer being authentic.

No the game engine's that handhelds offer will prevent mobile gaming from becoming a threat as far as competition goes. They might lose a margin of their target market because of prices but overall people are stil gonna buy handhelds

nah....gamers will always most likley prefer the console or portable consle that was actually pruposely made for games.

Nahhh. But it might eventually become a level playing field where iPhones etc. have just as good games and gaming capabilities as a handheld. I dunno.

No because phones can't have fun full lengh games like handhelds can, phones should only be used for calling people and texting people not for all this other stuff but you know maybe I'm just old fashion like that T_T

No phones might beat out the computer one day but NEVER a game system.

I will kill myself if I end up having to buy the new awesome pokemon game for the Android of shit.

Just.... no.

I highly doubt it. More and more phones are becoming only touch screen with few buttons. Gaming is more fun with buttons instead of just a screen. I tried playing Crash Bandicoot (the original one on PS1) on a Sony tablet at PC Richards, and it was just absolutely awful.

The only games I play on my phone are emulators. Real games will always beat phone games.

Cell phone game should disappear. They seem to be the one thing that are hardly ever exported.

Due to the lack of physical buttons us gamers have been accustomed to since way back when, no, it won't die.

tutti frutti. I don't think that mobile phone gaming has a chance against the 3DS and Vita.

Na.They just aren't dedicated like the 3DS and Vita. But whats with all the hate for games on the ipod/iphone?I mean REALLY,they aren't THAT bad! WELLLLLLL,unless you compare it to a game on the 3DS or Vita lol.But still for games on a smartphone their cool.

firetruck iPhones, iPods and Androids! They cost more than you would like to pay for a overly sized and packed with useless applications device. The only good thing about iPods ONLY is that they have big memory space, but nooo, Apple decides to cancel that pro out by creating the most frustrating program ever *coughITUNEScough*. And I'm not buying a touchscreen cell phone or whatever. A cell phone shoud only be able to call, send text messages and maybe take pictures or play some music, but that's it!

Games, especially the KH franchise, should stay on traditional consoles. I don't understand why Tetsuya Nomura doesn't want to put the next game in PS3. Square did an amazing job on FFXIII graphic-wise. PS3 is a console that would blast KH3 in space with awesomeness!!! But no, he's just trying to make the fans buy a shitload of stupid hand-held consoles and now ever exaggerated phones just to play a new game. More profit for them, right? But PS3 actually has an assload of good games you can play besides KH3, like God of War, Assassin's Creed etc.

firetruck PORTABLE DEVICES, INCLUDING PHONES.

I WANT THE NEW KH GAMES ON PS3.

Who is with me???

I was going for the dedicated consoles but tbh I don't think mobile phone games will ever rise much so I'm not worrying!

I doubt it for now, but one or two gen in the future who knows?

I doubt it. There are plenty of serious console gamers left in the world, and they're not going anywhere anytime soon.
