It'll probably sound really cheesy, but I had an experience I will never forget when I found the KH3D demo in an unexpected place. I don't how much I can share with you the sort of emotions and feelings that such a small moment affected me, but I'll try to share with you the moment I had.
To be honest, when I first played the demo, I wasn't all excited about it. I had stood in line for about an hour and was one of the first people at the booth. I was so giddy with excitement and nerves my hands were shaking. I was so focused on making sure I got you guys the things you've been wanting to see that I couldn't enjoy the game as much. I did get to meet some awesome people at KHUltimania and KHInsider so I did enjoy myself nonetheless.
After I had uploaded all my media online, I went for a final stroll around E3 before the day was over. I wandered into the Disney booth and found a beautiful forest replication to promote the movie Brave. What I didn't expect was to find a stone platform cradling 3DS's with the KH3D demos on them.
But what really made the moment so remarkable to me was the group of people playing the demo. Standing around with the forest scenarie was a small group of Square Enix and Disney staff. The Disney people, some of which I recognized from the Epic Mickey 2 Demo, were trying their hand at the KH3D demo.
It was such an inspiring sight. We only hear so little of SE's cooperation with Disney, and the rumors that Disney doesn't even like KH. What a wonderful moment it was to see them together trying out each others games. It was too awesome.
Then I got to sit down and play the demo again. This time, I enjoyed the demo, a lot. It was more than just playing the game. I could feel the magic of Disney. Being in that enchanting enviroment for a new Disney/Pixar movie playing the game around people of both Disney and Square Enix, it doesn't get much better than that. It was a magical gaming moment I will never forget. And now when I go see Brave, or play The Country of the Musketeers when the game is released, I will think of that moment and feel that magic that Disney and Square Enix both share.
