Creepy or Cute? my second art post

I haven't been able to do much fantasy drawing lately, because of college. So I thought I'd show off a little something I did in one of my classes.

This is from 2d design I was told to do something in black and white with one other color. And so I chose a bat, but I didn't really want it to look cute so a friend suggested that my extra color be red.

That being said what do you guys think?

does it look creepy or cute?and what are some other qualities that you like about it?
