Now don't call me a n00b, but I just finished Kingdom Hearts 1 today. I have played all other games but this one (and RE:Coded, but I have no intention of getting that), But have had no system to play it on. My grandma recently got a PS2 becuase she didn't have enough "boy toys" in her house, so she got one. The first game I got, of course, was KH1. But back on topic. I had to go through Ansem 1 time (first battle) big heartless 1 time, Ansem 2 like 5 times and Final Ansem 1. It was a pretty good game, but I don't think it was better than any games. Maybe Coded, but not anything else. I liked how Haley's voice matured with Sora so when CoM came out he sounded like he had grown. I think my favorite title is Birth by Sleep. That game was epic.

I'm just curious why you're not going to check Re:Coded out? Even though people told me it wouldn't be one of the greatest I still got it and I liked it a lot. Though it doesn't help move the story forward that much it's still a lot of fun and I think it's always refreshing seeing one of my favorite characters in a new plot figuring out his way. Actually, once I think about it, I really like Re:Coded and how Maleficent was more involved and stuff. My opinion is that you should check it out to add to your Kingdom Heart collection anyways.

just saying the original Kingdom Hearts is the best in the series and re:coded is also worth getting if your bored and want a game to try out, so i would at least try it but yea congrats on finishing the best KH and I totally recommend getting re:coded

The story makes no sense without recoded. Do I give it a 6/10? Yeah, but it's essential to the story.

Re: Coded is the most worthy skipable game in the series. The only thing important about it is the ending where you learn about "those who need saving" which were in the contents in Mickey's letter at the end of KH 2, and the secret ending which revealed about Xehanort's return and teased a bit on KH3D
