Deep Jungle is a world based on the 1999 movie Tarzan. So far, it has only appeared in KH1 and some plans were made to put it in COM, but the creator of the Tarzan novels, Edgar Rice Burroughs, decided not to let Square Enix and Disney use Tarzan's likeness anymore at that time, so only scans of it exist. After that, Deep Jungle was treated like it didn't exist.

 

Does this piss you off (YES! :angry: DJ was firetrucking awesome....) OR are you glad that its not part of KH lore anymore and probably won't be in another KH game again?

 

OR, do you think Burroughs should ease up and let DJ back in for KHIII or any other future title? Leave your opinions below.

Disney jus't couldn't have copyright on Tarzan anymore

Personally I was never a fan of Deep Jungle. So I'm rather glad it was only in the one game.

Well, now I feel like I did this frickin topic for nothing. :angry: And here I thought people were CLAMORING for another Deep Jungle spot. Oh, how wrong I was...

people who get lost in this level must not pay attention to the game at all its really easy haha

i dont get how anyone can get confused in this world, its actually really straight forward

I love the Tarzan movie. The world was ok but I ended up falling off the tree jumps a lot and having to redo it.

I actually enjoyed Deep Jungle quite a lot (except for those STUPID HIPPOS!!!). I don't understand why theres so much hatred for it... Aside from the Hippos.

I think Deep Jungle was ok. I agree it would be nice to bring back, but if it doesnt, I will live. Since it wasnt in KHCOM, it kinda lost importance...

Its been forever since i plaed kh1 but wasnt Heartless not supoosed to apear in DJ Clayton was the one who brought them there so its just safe now no point of even going there.and it was one of my fav kh1 worlds

Yeah! That World is very amazing! I miss it so much!

I really hate those stupid monkeys and their banana peels. I mean, the music fun and the scenery was really pretty, but it wasn't really my thing. I find it silly how so many people call a lot of the KHI worlds 'meh' when at the time you know you were all like "THIS IS THE COOLEST THING EVAR!" it's not fair comparing an older game to its new counterparts,

Deep Jungle + Flow Motion = Potential Awesome.

 

There is some posivive synergy between those two elements. Sliding around on vines and such to get around.

If Deep Jungle can't be used, just do Jungle Book instead.

 

But I think that property might have the same legal isues. (potentialy)

While I don't particularly LIKE the world, it's not bad, and I wish they could have used it in CoM, just because it clearly belongs there, instead you have a world in which actual plot stuff happened, which can't be mentioned again.

It isn't that great as a world but it's good

I liked DJ but it wasn't my favourite, but I think if they made a HD collection of KH1+2, it wouldn't make sense to have it left out. There'd just be a gaping hole since I know it's meant to be there.
