Possibly in the future, but Nomura said that he would like to move back to consoles for the next Kingdom Hearts game. Which would be Kh 3 most likely.

I really hope there is a FM for DDD. I've never gotten a FM before for any of the games and if there is one for DDD in the future I want that one to be my first.

They're generally reserved for numbered titles. I doubt they would go out on a limb and release it internationally anyway, since the Final Mixes for the Playstation titles have never crossed the shore.

I think if they were planning a Final Mix, then they would have added something to the localised release of the game.

There will be NO FM simple way to work that out is because they added nothing to the EU/AUS/NA version of the game that the JAP didnt.

 

The mian reasoning behind japan getting fm's is because the japanese people where pissed that we got extras so nomoura and co gave then the fm.

 

With there being no added extras from the Japan edition the outlook on a final mix is kinda non existent.

If there really isn't going to be a FM, I'm really disappointed, seeing as this is most likely the last bit of KH we get for the next 4 years until KH3 actually releases. I would really love if they did though, because I'd be happy to wait with the last bit of info being some type of cryptic hidden boss like the lingering will or mysterious figure.

 

Ah well. Only time will tell, i guess.

I wouldn't mind a KH3D Final Mix, since these versions usually hint the next title with new Secret Bosses, and we would get to know if KH3 in next in line or no. Also, KH3 will take a while to be released, they didn't even start working properly on it yet, who knows when we would get it? But of course, another different KH before 3 wouldn't be bad at all.

tutti frutti. I really wouldn't be surprised either way if there was a FM/Re: version of KH3D. It will most likely be a Japanese exclusive anyway that those who want it outside of Japan will have to import it. Though much like what DChiuch had mentioned that if there was going to be a re-release of the game, I'm sure that there would have been something extra in the copies released outside of Japan.

Ya I highly doubt a FM will come. Sadly. there are things that truly would be a nice add. (A hard secret boss!!! Julius was easy even at level 40!)
