I seriously doubt that it will be Kairi. She used a Keyblade for a half of a second and we already have Aqua who basically was the Kairi of the past.

They also gonna get Ven back, who's the Sora of the past, literally ... Without Ventus, Sora wouldn't be the one he is today... Sora complete behaviour is from ventus ~

And there is also Terra, Micky counted him as a Guardian, and he is the Riku of the Past Besides, Riku is a better Riku than Terra o.o

Well, you got me on the Ventus and Terra thing but still, I don't see them making it Kairi. We'll see, I guess.

For now all we can do is make theories and guesses based on what we know. I like to think of it this way.

If you remember the whole conversation with Xehanort and Mickey, Mickey believed they had 6 but Xehanort corrected him stating only 4 since he has possession of Terra's body and would have Sora's as well. As we know Sora got out making 5. So that's Sora, Riku, Mickey, Aqua, and Ven. Lea showed he could use the keyblade making 6. And with Kairi added to the ranks that's 7. I hope that solves any confusion anyone is having obviously anything can happen from here on out as Nomura is known to play with our heads, but as of now those are the 7 guardians

I think the normal ending leads you to believe that he'll be the seventh light, but the secret ending indicates Kairi, so it seems unlikely and that it was just to mess with people or get them thinking, conversing and spreading the word of the series and next game.

However MX is still meant to have one of the 6 guardians Mickey mentioned, which I would think it's Terra, but as someone said before elsewhere it could be Aqua cause there's no telling what being in the realm of darkness for 10 years could have done to her, as as MX used the power of darkness, he would be able to walk freely through there (I assume, since Roxas and all could do it), and find her. Given the sigil sign, she herself has an X across her breast, which according to a conversation between Braig and Sora, means that the organisation is able to track them. Ven and Terra also have this symbol as well, but Terra the only one with an unbroken one since his emblems on his belt implying to me that he must be in the dark 13.

Aqua is still good as seen in the ending to BBS, which takes place around the time 3D starts so she is still considered one of the 7, especially since she actually is a Master and Mickey holds her in high regards. Lea is no doubt one of the 7, Nomura loves him too much as a character As for the Vigil, that may have only applied in the World of Sleep, but I'm not 100% sure. Makes sense because Riku also had the Dream Eater symbol on his back in the World of Sleep. Who knows though. I believe you could be right though about the Vigil since YMX found Aqua, Ven, and Terra in BBS (he's the secret boss for those of you who don't know).

Kairi is already a light no need to be a double light. That is why she is key to stopping MX plan. He would not expect a POH to have a keyblade

Someone else will fill her spot.

If MX wouldn't expect a POH to have a keyblade, then by that admission, wouldn't she be an obvious choice to be used a a Guardian? Even Yen Sid mentioned that he asked her to come BECAUSE she can wield the keyblade...not to mention Mickey was just wondering who the 7th wielder is and in came Kairi. No need to overthink it, it's Kairi

My theory's that Lea will rescue Aqua, she will find Ven's body with Sora and co' and once Sora is near it, his heart will return to him. The organization would probably be right behind them following and there may be a battle in the room (though at this point it's really just theories o.o the most random unexpected events could happen with Nomura)

I think they know Aqua is there but would rather keep her there, after all what bad guy wants another Keyblade Master ruining their plans. Ven may not be able to be tracked due to the fact that the room is a Keyblade Master secret that Xehanort himself knew not the way in or that it even existed. So there's no way Ven could be found. And remember Xemnas was talking to Aqua's armor, he must know of her whereabouts. Lea did not lose the X until his death as Axel so he was still being tracked for the longest time. Again, just all theories here

Then unless Roxas has a talk with people over the people he met and describes them, they mighten be be none the wiser that Ven is within Sora.
