because in that moment Sora's pod opened while seconds later it opens again when Donald and Goofy call him

the mansion does act as a connection between the real TT and the digital one but the one that Roxas lives is the digital and he destroys the computer on the digital TT and there's where he met Sora...while Sora wakes up in the other one where the computer isn't broken and stuff...that's why I made this thread in the first place

I like to think that since everything in Roxas's world was data when he met Sora, the computer holding Roxas's data just sort of uploaded Roxas into Sora.

I'm pretty sure that was the real Sora.

I think the mansion did act as a portal between the worlds, more specifically, that room itself.

 

By the point Roxas had gotten there, he had reached Sora and returned the remaining memories to Sora.

Although it's unclear exactly WHAT happened to Roxas, it's implied he didn't return to Sora(Because he does so at the end of TWTNW) and possibly went back to Twilight Town(Digital OR real).

Ansem The Wise says that Sora was the only one able to return to a whole person without destroying his Nobody, because of the love Sora shares for people he doesn't even know.

So what I think is that that was the real Sora,and that Roxas just ran away before Sora woke up.

I don't think that's true because if Roxas hasn't returned to Sora,Sora would not be able to dual wield untill the end of the game...As you know Ven's heart is inside Roxas and Sora can dual wield because of the Ven's hearts...So Roxas had to return to Sora

Personally, I always thought the pod room is where the real Twilight Town and the Digital one intersect. Therefore, it really was Sora that Roxas comes across. Anywho, I always thought the pod opened then because DiZ sort of tricked Roxas into opening it. You know, because Roxas is trying to hack away at the Digital Projection of DiZ, but at the last moment he moves, so Roxas slashes the pod instead. The pod probably opened because of the Keyblade. Perhaps it recognized its true master; at which point Roxas and Kingdom Key return to Sora.

 

Also, Roxas did return to Sora then. What Nomura was talking about in that one interview was that, Roxas wasn't awake inside Sora until TWTNW (when he fights him, and afterwards Sora learns Final Form). Anyway...

The Sora we saw was the real one .Twilight Town is an inbetween world and the data TT is connected . Thats how Axel was able to enter the digital TT ( since the worlds are connected ) ..When roxas went to sora he might have started out in the digital one but ended up in the real one bc they are connected .That is the real Sora we see.

Roxas may have started out in the data world but he ended up in the reral world. This is similar to the phenomenon that took place in Dream Drop Distance in TWTNW where the world bounced between the real world to the realm of sleep transporting Riku and Sora from one realm to the next.

Yeppers thats how Sora was able to wake up in the first place.

It's possible that what we saw as Roxas was more symbolic...he merely had to accept that he had to go back into Sora for it to physically happened. That or, more likely, DiZ probably inserted Sora into the fake Twilight Town temporarily so Roxas could join with him. He then had him wake up in the real twilight town.

It was at that moment were roxas was sent out of the dataworld and back to the real world

I think it's just that in the data Twilight Town, Roxas opens the pod to the real Sora to become a part of him again while in the real Twilight Town, Sora's pod is still closed and he's still waking up.
