O my gawd. I remember seeing this when I was 6 and how confused I was about what was going on. And that's

Every news broadcast each caught the 2nd plane crash......that was horrible. A moment of silence for those lost or affected from that horrible day. God bless America.

A has anyone else noticed 9/11 the date and 911 is the number you dial for the police.

I love America, i respect our troops, I even feel for those who feel sorrow from 9/11.

BUT COME ON! Its been 11 years, can we get over it? :/

Get over it? This was one of the worst massacres to happen to the United States. You expect a lot of people to just forget and not care about all those people that died from this attack and risked their lives to save others? Your comment makes you sound real ignorant. I mean, how would you feel if a family member of yours died from something like this? This is really important history just like the Holocaust and Black slavery.

What happened isn't something we can easily forget (as in footage above) with how many lives that were lost, we can't forget, we'll never forget, i won't forget, my own aunt died there, yet you think this is something we can blow off our shoulders?

9/11 stays but Bin Laden will never cause any trouble ever again, haha US got its revenge! Obama 2012!

I was 3 when this happened so I didn't know by that time what was going on.

Please don't be so disrespectful, this was a catastrophic event, we can't simply "get over it"

Another Fact by Ashiri:

Actually, before 911 happened, this was usually the day of respect for Emergency Personnel because of the "911"

Now, we really have something to be respectful for.

Also, I live pretty close to where that 4th plane hit.

Even if I was 2 and I was at home, it was very traumatizing to my whole family because we've got plenty of family members up in NYC.

I was really scared back then when I saw those planes hit the towers, I started screaming "WORLD WAR 3!!!!"

RIP 9/11

At that time I was about four or five. I don't remember anything at all except for the live view of the towers. My dad was there, working for the DEP. He was a first res ponder to go and help. My mom told me the next day we thought he died since he was missing for about two days. And ever since then he has gotten so sick. He lost his job from not being able to work anymore, and my mom can't work because she is sick too. It effected us a lot... It's just upsetting to see so much about this 11 years later. I'm not saying we should forget about it. But every year I see everyone spamming videos and the like about this and it's upsetting to me. I just feel bad because when I see those video's I never cry or anything. I get a little upset, but I don't cry or do anything. I feel so heartless...

Either way, I know that all those who died are now in heaven. And the people who responded are all heroes.

I love my country and everyone in it. God bless America.

tutti frutti. This is something that people can't get over. Lives were lost and America was attacked. You have to think about losing someone important to you in one of the most trajick moments in the world, let alone in America. 9/11 is something that should be remembered as does a number of other points in history around the world. 9/11 is something that Americans shouldn't be forgotten.

i know someone who was in the towers the day before 911 they still cant get over how lucky there were they had actually planned to visit the day of 911 but there flight got changed so they had to go a day earlier so they could do everything else they wanted to while in New York

I was just a a toddler when it happened. Now that I'm older, I feel so bad just thinking about all the lives and families that were lost. This will always be engraved in my head. But the people that died are in a better place now.

Still, I can't get over how bad this makes me feel.

I was around 2 when this happened, I don't remember that much of what happened. But I did remember my whole family acting up on this. My brother told me that he got to see the towers get attacked, everyone actually did. The whole school was basically freaking out and the principal, deans and teachers allowed it, they knew how much it meant to them.

It was a really sad day. They attacked The World Trade Center because of many reasons, but no matter what their reason was it was a horrendous action. As far as I heard, they were angry that the western civilizations affected the eastern civilizations, such as male and females wearing certain clothing and going to parties? So they killed thousands of people just to stop a civilization to affecting their country, which will most likely never happen?

Their methods and motives are low and they are seriously horrible people.

Killing others to get your own way? What will that solve?

All you guys did was bring a bad name to the mideastern countries.

After the events of 9/11, a lot of mid-eastern countries were harmed. Indians were harmed too being mistaken for being a terrorist. One of my moms friend, who is an old man, got killed from humane acts.

There were a lot who died, and the core was just from the Al-Qaeda. They really ruined our country at that point, but they also helped make it better.

We gained more strength and became more powerful. We thought we were untouchable before this event happened, not saying it's a good thing, but it gave one great positive effect on us. We became a lot more powerful.

I don't want to burst anyones bubble, but just because Osama Bin Laden is dead doesn't mean Al-Qaeda is done forever. They are still out there, probably worse than before? They've been running for a while, I think something will happen in the future. I think we should all appreciate the little things in life, and always say "I love you" to everyone you love, because like these ordinary people, they did not see it coming, and you may wake up almost about to die at one point.

God bless America.

So you are saying we should get over 9/11 even though it made a big impact in our lives today? Think about it, America was not as the same before this happened, this changed people so much. Your statement is extremely disrespectful towards the people who lost their family and friends. Did you know many children became practically an orphan since their parents died from this?

Also it's historic, it effects a lot of people, and it killed a lot of people.

Lets just forget about WWI and WWII also!

I live about an hour away from NYC. I remember that day perfectly.

I was in second grade and we weren't told by our teacher. Kids started getting picked up by their parents as early as ten in the morning. I was confused. Why was I one of three people left in my class at the end of the day?

When I got home, my dad sat me down on the couch and told me about the attack. He said that our house had been called multiple times about the attack (my father was in the military and my mother worked at a hospital), but they were gardening and didn't find out till later. I live five minutes from school, so my parents thought I would be safer there. I remember being shocked at how evil people could be and being worried because I didn't want my daddy to be going to fight in war or have my mommy called into the city and into risk helping people.

Rest in peace those lost in the attack, and don't forget this awful event.

I was only 6 years old when this tragedy happened and I don't remember anything on that day. Many friends and families lost those they cared about and its really heartbreaking to think about it. My blessings goes to all who lost their lives that day and to the people who had to suffer, and my biggest thank yous to those who stood out to rescue others who thought their own existence will immediately end.

Nevet forget 9/11

I think I was in Grade 1 when it happened. Even though I live in Canada, my mom pulled me out of school that day. She was afraid there might be terrorists here targeting us. Of course, I didn't really understand the scope of it when I was that young. But I learned quickly. And my thoughts always go out to the victims and the people who lost a lot in the 9/11 attacks.

By the way, did you know that this day is the same as 9/11?

It was a beautiful and clear day with a bit breezy here in NY during that day, and today it was the same beautiful clear day being a bit breezy.

Plus, both were on a Tuesday.

That's kind of disrespectful to say when we're mourning and offer our respects everyone that was affected by it, one way or another, don't you think? Not just the people that died but the sociological consquences and everyone affected by the aftermath, even today.

Anyway, I thought I'd say on behalf of Canada, even though I'm in no place to speak for my country itself that I'm glad we could help America in all the ways we could and still would.

Same thing happened here. My mother was watching the news with her colleagues in the staff room and when she saw everything that had happened, she called my dad and asked that I be pulled out of school. I don't remember much of that other than the adults being extremely stressed.

A guy at my church worked there. He managed to escape with his life though and in good health. I'm grateful for him being alive because he's one of the most considerate‚caring people that I've ever known. Most of his co workers however didn't make it. I grieve for them and all the family that lost someone important. Its a day I'll never forget. I was in 4th grade.
