(Previously called "The God fanclub", just to clear up any confusion)
I checked, and I don't think there's any exact fanclubs about this yet, so I thought I'd make it.
*Warning- Very 'religious' and 'more-serious-than-my-usual-posts' sounding post inbound*:
Hey guys, lately I've been thinking a lot about my faith and what I believe in. So, I decided to make this fanclub. I've seen topics here, like "anyone here a Christian?" and stuff like that, but I just felt pushed to make a different topic, one where we simply shout out our love to our Savior. That's all it needs to be.
There's a few things I want to make clear though.
--This is NOT a topic where we point out flaws in other people, such as non-Christians, etc. etc. We're all human, and none of us have the right to judge others for what they do with their lives or what they do or don't believe in
--I am NOT making this to worship some fake and absent deity who ignores us, or wants to judge us, or 'hates f*gs', or takes joy in seeing us screwed over and left alone with no answers.
I AM making this topic to shout out my love to our very real Creator, who made us in HIS IMAGE, and loves each and every one of us, no matter how bad our imperfection, no matter how far we've fallen away from Him, no matter how many times we've SPAT IN HIS FACE and told Him that we don't need Him. I'm writing this in hope that some of you guys too, can shout out your love for God, because I know there are a lot of Christians on here.
So this means I'd like to have this thread as a way that we Christians can grow a bit in fellowship, even though we may not know each other personally, and some of us may be on the other side of the globe from each other. Feel free to say things like what He's done in your life, or how he's helped a friend/family, etc. You can also just shout out verses or quotes that you find inspiring, like this:
"Call me a fool for this stand, but I would die for that Man. MY KING IS ALIVE! MY KING IS ALIVE! I will hold fast to the profession of my hope, because He who promised is faithful. Time and time again, in my weakness, He's been strong for me. I haven't just heard about Him, I've heard HIM. I haven't just seen evidence of Him; I'VE SEEN HIM. He's alive, and He's conquered the grave, ONCE AND FOR ALL." --For Today
So, let's stand together, as recusants. God bless, guys!
