Does anyone think this could work? To have both of these collections?

 

I've got no idea how they will deal with this.

 

For one they could easily do HD 2.5 and have Kingdom Hearts II (Final Mix), Re:coded (Theatre) & Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance].

 

But then presents the problem of Birth by Sleep (Final Mix). It wouldn't make sense to include it in 2.5. So 0.5 makes more sense, but then what else could it include?

 

They could always make Birth by Sleep -Volume 2- and tell the story between Birth by Sleep & Kingdom Hearts. And an even less unlikely case is they include a Theatre of cutscenes from "Kingdom Hearts for PC Browsers".

 

We'll just have to wait and see and hope that Square Enix remaster Kingdom Hearts II (Final Mix) and Birth by Sleep (Final Mix).

That's not what he means. He means that they should put BBSFM and BBS Volume Two, if that ever gets released. I don't have high hopes for it, because Versus XIII has been in development as long as FFXIII has and there's still no result.

I don´t really think they will ever put KH3D the game just released a few months ago... Maybe they add BBS in the 2.5 remix.

tutti frutti. I think that the idea for KH 2.5 HD Collection is something that is definitely possible. But if BBS is re-released for the PS3, I think that it should just keep the title as the main title instead of giving it the title of KH0.5. Something like BBS FM HD seems like something that would be better, but that's my thought on it. Either way, I don't doubt that there would be something like that would happen if a KH game is to be released each year before or after KH3.

No I didn't mean that, I meant that instead of making a whole new game with the name BBS Volume Two, it could be better to put it with BBSFM in one game with the name 0,5

This makes me think that 2.5 will include KH II FM+ and BBS FM (easy to port from PSP to PS3) as the two playable games, and the turn Re:Coded into a theater mode story. I highly doubt that they will be doing anything with Dream Drop Distance anytime soon. Maybe we'll see that in Kingdom Hearts 3.5 ReMix, who knows?

I think it could go any way but that is so far in the future to predict. We'll just have to wait and see.

I had the exact same theory for 2.5, but I never thought about BBS v2. the way you described it. That would be a good idea...

 

It would suck if SE focused on remakes for the next few years before KH3. We'd get a little frustrated with it...

If you're thinking of it in that regards then it would make more sense for 358/2 Days to be included in 2.5.

With Nomura, anything is possible. I highly believe we'll get a 2.5, and yes, I had also thought about Birth by Sleep being remixed as a 0.5. And it makes sense, because they would release 2.5 in 2014 and 0.5 in 2015, which will all lead up to the much anticipated release of Kingdom Hearts 3 in 2016!

I do believe a Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMix is possible, like maybe a year after Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMix gets released, but I'm not sure if Kingdom Hearts 3D will be included, although it could still be possible.

Why do people think Re:Coded will be included in the theatre mode but not 3D!?! It makes no sense and no-one has been able to justify this. Re:coded is totally un-necessary, unless they are going into the idea of digital worlds in KH3. Re:Coded might end up being the most significant title ever but during the lead up to KH3 I think understanding the idea's developed in KH3D would be a better way of bringing people up to speed on the story.

 

Unless, of course, they plan on completely remaking KH3D (like they did with CoM)... in which case I won't mind the exclusion from theatre mode.

I think 2.5 would be BBSFM KH2FM+ and Re Coded theatre. Re coded will be the same as they did with Days, not that they would decide to remake a ds game for ps3. Kh2fm+ is obvious. As for BBSFM, it may not be chronologically correct for 2.5, but it DOES have a lot of connections to KH2. You can even tell references in KH2 if you re play it. DDD was recently made, so unless 2.5 doesn't come out for a long while, they wouldn't remake it. Theatre possibly, but 3d already has nice and smooth cutscenes.

I thought the same as you, only in 0.5 (I suspected it to go last, and 2.5 to be released first since everyone will die for KH2 HD), I thought it's include BBSFM, BBSV2 and cutscenes/secret trailers that lead us into KH3

Why wouldn't it? In terms of the title maybe not, but in terms of how the game connects with Kingdom Hearts II it makes all the sense in the world!

2.5 Collection is a good idea, but if they'll do it, Nomura would wait for KH3D to get a little "older", that way he could re-release it and put it along with Coded and KH2, even though the first is not the famous.

And to have a 0.5 Collection we'd have to have another game between BbS and KH1, because Birth by Sleep is the 0 mark, it wouldn't make sense make a collection with one game called 0.5 if there nothing between those games...

I'm gonna predict that Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMix will have a secret message or ending that will hint at a Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMix, like how the Kingdom Hearts 3D secret message hinted at 1.5 HD ReMix
