Honestly, for me, its the first and only series that has ever illicited emotions from me and gave me feels .I love the gameplay and the characters too but thats my top reason.
October 3, 201213 yr I actually don't. It's a great series, but it has had several, mostly consistant flaws that hold it back. If I had to choose my favourite series, it would be the Final Fantasy Golden Age, Uncharted, Mass Effect, Metal Gear, or classics like Mario and Zelda. KH is a great series, no doubt. Is it the best? Not quite, in my opinion.

And if the gaming media giants like GameSpot, IGN etc have a say. Then they would say Final Fantasy clearly. Final Fantasy X alone got 9.0 & 9.5 respectively. The most a Kingdom Hearts game has ever gotten was 8.

October 5, 201213 yr It literally means quite a bit. What makes you say that? Ratings are arbitrary numbers that are applied by average people with no actual power of judgement over the game. The success of something financially doesn`t have any bearing on if it`s better or worse.

When something is successful there's a better chance of it lasting, and when something is successful that means more money.

Whether or not a franchise is better than another series is opinionated. You are trying to use "facts" to say that a franchise is "factually" better than another franchise when you can't actually do that.

All of this literally means nothing I love how hatok can just shoot you down with one flawless, factual sentence for which there is no comeback for. Anyway in response to the TC, for me it is. I only ever played videogames because they were entertaining. I never felt anything for them until I played KH which made me experience happiness, fury, anger, sadness and nostalgia. So for that it will always be my favorite.
