Do you prefer wireless or wired controllers?

Posted

As titile says, do you prefer to play games with a wireless controller or a wired controller?

Wireless controller, I love to play my games at a far distance from the TV.

I like wireless. The only time I do go for wired is when I plug my remote into my xbox for charging xD other then that screw wired .-.

Wireless. Nothing to do with being able to play far away or anything, just I think my ps2 wires, N64 wires, psp, 3DS and mobile charger, along with the wire to my lamp, hair dryer and straightners all tangled on the floor look messy (and my bedrooms small). I don't like messiness, but soon as I put them away, I want/need to use them so they all come back out and lie in a pile in front of my desk.

Wireless ftw! >83 I love playing games from a distance, and I don't want to damage my vision. :I

Wireless controls also allow me to move freely and still play. :3

I like wired controls..........

I love wireless controller. What I end up doing is carrying the controller everywhere, into the kitchen, etc. It's certainly not new technology but it's so nifty :D

I prefer wired.

Why? Because that way I won't end up using tons of batteries that I don't have.

Wireless. Its easier to steal.

The ps3 controllers have usb charge :D

Both. When I need to charge batteries I have a Gaming Chair for using the wired controls. That and it makes it much easier to trip my family when they won't listen to me goddamn it. I'm mean and evil.

Wireless. Wires get tangled up, and just generally take up space. Plus, the wired controllers often have too short a wire, which can lead to my gaming systems deciding to just jump off the table, or face-plant onto the floor.

Wired. Batteries, connection issues, things at conventions (ever tried having multiple consoles in one space and trying to keep their controllers from connecting with the wrong one?). Also, they do sell extension cords for consoles with wired controllers. I have one for my GameCube.

Wired.

Don't have a PS3 -.-

wireless obviously

I actually like wired controllers. It may just be me, but I find its harder for me to play with wireless. Like the wii remote for example, you have to point it at a certain area for it to work. You have no problems like that with wired controllers.

Wired if its my ps2 or gamecube/wii playing gc games. Wireless for everything else.

I like wireless so I can sit anywhere in my house and play

I get a flood of nostalgia whenever I dust my PS2 off and rock the wired... but wireless is just more convienient...

Wireless. If I go to another room I don't have to leave the controller x)

Definitely wireless, at least when you're able to charge the controller through USB. Replacing batteries is a hassle. A man shouldn't have to open the back cover of a Wii Remote so many times...

I am aware fo the xbox wireless controller problems. But I have a PS3, so I am more than happy with my wireless controllers xD. If one of them runs out of battery, I just leav this one charging and get the other one. Simple enough. And PS3 controllers tend to charge up really fast.

Once your console has kissed the floor because someone has stumbled with the wire of the controller, you always going to prefer the wireless controllers

I prefer wireless.
