Sora, Is really not my favorite character. I rather much like Xion, Vanitas, Roxas, Aqua, Terra, Riku, and Vanitas. They are just so much better than Sora imo because they have a bit more Personality and emotional depth to their character unlike the whole "Happy-Go-Lucky" thing which Kinda gets old, even though He is the overall Main Character he just seems a bit Two Dimensional to me.

My favorite is Vanitas, because he is the complete opposite of Sora. Therefore, I can't stand Sora... But still, I know he's probably the most important Character in KH, so I don't go and hate him

I like Sora, but like Riku and Roxas more. I can't decide which one of the two I like more, although. I always like the ones related to the darkness and things like that. In Naruto, for example, I like sasuke more than him.

If Sora had never been chosen by the Keyblade, Xemnas would've never wanted his power. Thus, Xion wouldn't have ever existed. That's why I like Sora.

Sora is one of my favourite characters. I like also Roxas

I don't really have ultimate favourites.

I tend to put those characters I like on a par, and those who are their enemies/assholes on the "get ready to die" list.

I don't really chose one person and declare my complete and utter devotion to that one person

How can I explain it? I've followed KH from the beginning, and as a nine year old I had a crush on him. Gah! I really don't know how to explain it! And I think I should mention that KH was my first RPG, so I was amazed that it had a story and believable characters.

 

To be honest, I didn't really care about Sora at first. I just cared about the upcoming Disney worlds. I remember that it was when Leon "killed Sora" (or so I thought; I was young, leave me alone) that I really noticed I'd begun to care for him.

 

I guess it's because he's the underdog? I remember seeing Riku and Kairi flirting (or I thought they were), and then noticed how much Sora loved Kairi... I thought it was going to be an unrequited thing, so I think that's one of the reasons I ended up sympathizing with him. But Sora is just the embodiment of all I think people should strive to be. He's not perfect; not by any means, but he always fights for his friends, and tries to be the best he can be. He never, ever gives up on anyone (even if he might should), and he just tries so hard to do the right thing, you know?

 

It would be so easy for this normal boy to give up and have a simple life, but he doesn't choose to. He never gives into Darkness or despair... He never takes the easy route, and that's what being a true hero is to me (and on a side note that's why I like people like Superman and Harry Potter). Sora really is just the average guy in extreme situations, but he aspires to be something greater and I think we all should, too. He's just so sweet, and funny, and someone you can always rely on! He's someone you'd always want to have your back, and be your best friend, and...

 

Honestly, the ending of DDD when Sora's being so awesome and noble is the prime reason I love him. Also, he's not afraid to ask for help, and he's just… Sora. And Sora’s the reason I love KH. I tell ya, the moment he sacrificed himself to save Kairi was the moment I fell in love with his character, and the game series. And honestly, there would be no KH without Sora. If Sora didn’t exist, it'd be much too serious. And I don't think anyone could blend in with the Disney elements so well, and-

 

So, this post is all over the place. And probably doesn't make sense in the slightest, but I hope I got some of my point across. I love Sora, and not only is he my favorite KH character, but he's my favorite character of all time. I love you, Sora. Thanks for being a Light in my life, and always reminding me to stay strong when things are at their worst.

Gosh, I feel like there's such a misconception about Sora. He isn't stupid, or happy all the time; he isn’t arrogant. Acting those ways, though, in some regards, is the only way he can deal with everything he’s been through.

 

Sora sees the good in everything, and sucks out the bad like a sponge (as Data Riku said). He can create miracles just by never giving up, and believing there's a way to succeed. And then he gives everyone strength, and sees the good in them that they don't see in themselves. He's such a great person...

 

He’s a simple and clean protagonist, and I think there could never be a better way to go about creating one:) He’s proud of who he is, and in the end that’s all that matters. As long as we can like ourselves, who cares if other people do, right? That’s a great lesson to learn. I can only hope in the future, that the protagonists I write can teach people just a bit of what Sora’s taught me…

This post exactly describe of how I feel about Sora.he.....to be honest,I felt that Sora changed my life somehow.I don't know how to describe it ,but he did.

 

He doesn't have to be a dark whiny Emo(looking at YOU Cloud Strife who say"Not interested"as his everyday response to anything).

 

And if you look at it.He represent the player somehow.If you were transported to another world suddenly.A place that you don't know anything about and they gave you a weapon and told you that you're the chosen one to fight the forces of evil.If you have some friends that you lost you'll probably behave just like Sora.

 

It's so boring when you have some 'know-it-all' characters that only talk about light and darkness and fell the entire game with a cliche poetical lecture as if heshe know everything.I like it when you have a hero who learns from his journey and gain experience not those heroes who knows everything from the start and makes watching the story as if it's a lecture not an experience

 

That's why I like Sora:He learns more about what he should do and about his enemies and the mythology of the story the more he progress through the events.

No Roxas is my favorite, but Sora is not far behind. But since Roxas is his nobody, I guess Roxas counts as a Sora in a way.
