So...for those who have watched Breaking Dawn-Part 2...

 

Well...first off, I have to say that I am not really as big into Twilight as I am The Hunger Games, but I decided to go see it with my little sister and it was WAY better than I thought! The twisted ending where *spoilers*

 

 

 

where I thought they were trying to kill everyone off...holy crap that had me on the edge of my seat! And I got really mad cause I thought they were really killing off the Volturi!!!(Team Volturi man not Edward or Jacob). My sister and I started whispering, saying that we hated this movie because they were killing off so many characters that don't die in the book. But then, when you figure out it's one of Alice's visions, oh my word!!!

 

I think this movie is actually worth an Oscar nomination or something...cause it's that good! Discuss what you liked or didn't like here...(insert Aro's creepy laugh)

Twilight was beautiful.

I Saw It Yesterday With My Bff I LOVED IT The Best Part Was Were Everybody Was Getting Killed Off Cuzz That Part Wasn't In The Book I Was Sitting In My Chair Freaking Out Like :OOO Then When It Ended Being One Of Alice's Visions OH MAH GAWD!

The Only Thing That I Didnt Like Was That There Should Have Been A Lil Bit More Detail In Certain Parts Other Than That Pure Epicness

LOL. I was the only person in the theater (besides my sister) who knew it was one of Alice's visions. Silly reporters that leak things long before the movie comes out! But seriously, even if I hadn't read that (and my sister hadn't, so she figured it out by herself), I would have gotten it on my own like she did. It was rather obvious, since it started happening after Alice grasped Aro's hand (plus since Stephenie produced this one, I knew she'd never let that ending go down). The only thing I can't figure out is how the heck Alice saw the wolves, but I guess we're not supposed to notice that, huh?

Honestly, in some regards, I have mixed feeling about the ending. I, unlike most people, liked that Breaking Dawn didn't end with a fight. Maybe it's because I'm a pacifist, and think people need to remember matters can be resolved peacefully? Maybe because it was a break from the norm? IDK. But honestly, that ending made sense to me. Edward can read minds; Alice can see the future, Jasper can sense/manipulate emotions, so of course they could have figured out how to trap Aro in his words the way they did, and not have to fight.

And technically, that all still happens in the film, but I can't help feel what they did was a bit of a cop out. I feel it detracts from what the book was trying to say. It was a mental match (hence the chess cover and why Alice left a clue in the Merchant of Venice) not a physical one. And honestly, I feel bad for the fans that were trolled and having panic attacks during the ending. LOL.

Seeing as the actual book was out years ago, I don't think you need to add the spoiler tag. People should have read the books first anyways.

What were your initial reactions when you saw Carlisle die?

Wait what? Nothing like that ever happened in the book, did it? O.o

Carlisle died? I don't recall that in the novel.

Carlisle died in the new movie? Although I actually don't care about the movies, they made him die?

Well they made him die, but in the end it all turned to be a vision that Alice was showing to the leader of the vampire rulers.

My reaction: "...I read the book and I'm pretty sure that didn't happen.."

Welll....since he was the first to go....it shocked the living crap out of my sister and I! And then when we thought everyone else, both good and bad, was getting killed...we started going on and on about how much we hated the movie...and then when we realized it wasn't real...urgh!
