i am putting my foot down! i have been stuck on demyx for WAY to long! (like 8 months) I created this forum for tips on how to beat Demyx. for me and for everyone else! please post as many tips as you can on how to FINNALY defeat demyx.

Hit him with your keyblade

Be a good level. Like 30ish should do.

Have good keyblade, armor acessories ect.

Use thunder often. Use donald's comet limit. Stay defensive and avoid attacks.

That's pretty much the gist of it.

You can use magnet ? Its usefully. Use fire and hit everithing, what move. And read the demyx page in wikia/watch youtube. 

I really don't remember how I beat him, but I suggest to avoid dying with any means necessary. 

 

Also Flaming Lea gave already great advice. With these two tactics you may win the glorious battle against Demyx.

Any level you are , the trick to beat his time limit is the triangle button and a very quick hitting . That's how i did it .

Well, he's a water-type, so you're good with either leaf or electric-types...

 

If you chose Charmander as your starter, then you're probably better off learning his attack patterns. Be careful of attacking too early otherwise you'll get caught in his attacks. When he summons his clones, jam that triangle button like it's going out of style.  

to tel lthe truth all i did was run around and press tri without a care the game was already two easy for me thank to that button there wasent much fun

Yes it is important to hit the traingle button like a crazy man . And an ability to hit as fast as you can . The only prob with Demyx is his clones time limit . The rest of him is piece of cake .

Don't use reaction commands, they can work the other way around and you take damage (never bother to analise when you give or takee damage...)

Do you have trouble on the challenges or in the battle itself? If it's the battle, you just have to be careful when you have low levels, and mostly dodge his attacks after you analise them.

I suppose it's not...but there's a crossover I'd like to see, haha.

Other than what every one else said, don't go into drive forms. You would think they help, but really, you will always need Donald and Goofy. They help more than you think. But if you have to go into a drive form, make is Valor. Goofy doesn't heal as often as Donald, and in my opinion, Donald's magic is better than Goofy's shield hits. Sooooo... Yeah. Oh and lots of potions. Those are good too

if i use any drive i turn into a heartless or anti-sora you get the pic. how do i fix that?

Hit him fast and hard.  The main problem I had with Demyx was trying to take out his water summons within the allotted time. So try not to heal much but instead keep on the offensive, because the faster you take him down, the less risk you have of running out of time.

You can't fix it.  All you can do is run around and wait for his drive to reach 0 again.  I think it happens pretty randomly, since I've had it happen sometimes without any explanation.  I don't know how you can prevent it, or if there even is a way.

You can't really fix it. Anti-form happens randomly, and if it's constantly happening to you, then you're just really unlucky. I don't think it would glitch that badly. Eventually it should let you use drive forms again. I don't know what else to tell you. Hope that helped

It took me a while to beat him too... that is... until I realized you could switch out keyblades. Just go to your Start menu and change out the blade. You should've gotten one from Olympus by now. You can use that one. It has a ton of strength. 

What game mode play you? Easy or Hard or(I cant remember)  Two ways can you beat him, but you have strong enought, and good reflexes and long suffering Beat him whit magic, or beat him valor form.

And: "DANCE WATER DANCE!!!!"
