Do you prefer to rent a game before buying it?

Only if I don't know much about the game, but if its like KH, I'll surely buy it without renting it first xD

And you ?

    • Yes, I do. It's better to be able to try it first.

    • Yes, I do. But that's only when I don't know much about the game, so I can have a first impression of it.

    • No, I don't. I prefer to search about the game on the Internet.

    • I don't care. If I can rent it first, it's great, but if I can't, it doesn't matter that much to me.

I prefer to search for a review on the internet. Saves much time.

Nope, because when i do buy a game, I know exactly what i'm buying. I read up about them online.

No xD I'm a good Wizard OwO I was just waiting for Today's poll that's all :3

Renting is fine, but I would rather play a demo (since they're free).

Regardless, I would always prefer to be able to try out a game before I purchase. No matter what I read on the internet, I never really know if I'll like a game until I try it.

I used to exclusively rent games growing up with the only exceptions being games given as gifts on birthday's, christmas etc. that I would keep permanently( Not counting Kh) I own them all. But now there are many games I miss from my childhood so I prefer to just buy them now after searching on the internet.

Renting it would probably be smarter, but I never do and simply look it up online then go buy it...I have so many games I haven't beaten yet xDx

I have never rented a game and never will. Also i haven't ran into any stores that rent games...

Money's a factor to me, I wouldn't see a point in renting a game when that amount could be put towards buying it

I research it online, watch some lets plays and reviews and then decide whether or not I'll purchase it

Also if I rented a game i'd need to return it before I could complete it, i'm busy with school work and stuff to focus on it, and will only ever finish a game with 100% completion so it takes a long time xD

You can do that!?

Nah, that's what free demos/trials are for.

Normally I get interesting in games from friends, online or YouTube. I normally start/love watching gameplays of it before I get it. Kingdom Hearts, my friend showed me Day358 at School and I got hooked right then and there. Starcraft 2 and Minecraft, I found people playing it on YouTube (Cough HuskyStarcraft getting me into two video games Cough) and fell in love with it.

I usually play the demo first, if there is one. I'm not paying 60 bucks for what might be a terrible game lol

I rarely have any sources for renting around. Most games I buy it's because I checked on it, or saw a friend playing, than I get one for myself. So I never rent games...

I try a trial/demo for a new game that I never heard of. But I also look at reviews online before buying it. If its good, then I buy it.

I just do a demo if Im really confused on buying it or not. But Usually a game I want, ill just buy and I have never bought a game that I didn't like ;3

The only time I really did that was with Persona 4 Arena, even though I haven't bought it...yet

If it's a game I don't know much about, I would rent it.  I would rather experience the gameplay than just read or see it.

me and my dad always rented games then buying them, but now its just renting out games to try and check them out and then later in time buy some of them

I just rent a game if it looks cool, and if it turns out to good then i buy it, but if not then i dont care

I've never rented a game and I never will. I just read reviews, watch YouTube walkthroughs of them, and/or a friend tells me about them. Most of the games I'm starting to buy are kinda old anyways so I doubt I can rent them now.

No. I just do research on it to see if I'll like it before knowing if I'm sure I want to buy it.
