KH3: Do you think any of the 7 Lights will die?

Posted

This can include Sora, at the end of the game of course. KH3 will be the end of the Xehanort saga anyways, and someone else could be the new protagonist in the next saga. I'm not sure who would die, but I think someone, or some, will die. Not to be a pessimist or whatever, I love all the characters, but it's the last game of the saga, it would make sense story-wise to have some die. The 13 Darkness's are a different story because you actually fight them, and you probably will kill all of them in KH3.

I'd hate to see anyone die but if I'd have to say Terra Lea and Riku I could see die, hope it doesn't happen though

No i do not want anyone of the Seven Lights to Die i want them to Remain Alive!

Nope.  Disney's involved, so it becomes very hard to die.  Unless there's a cliff nearby...

Lol but killing the Darkness's is perfectly acceptable to Disney.

KH3's just the last of the Xehanort Saga actually, I heard there are going to be games with a new villain later... But I think it'd be a nice twist if a character actually died (AKA not being revived into a Nobody or revived in the next game or being absorbed by another character)

Tell it to Bambi's mom.

As for death, I opt no, as I can't help but feel it would be a sad ending for the sake of having a sad ending, rather than doing anything poignant with a death.

They could make it good or interesting. Like someone sacrifices their life epically (?) (epicly?) or something lol.

Nah, I don't think any of them will die, especially since some of them will probably be the tormented people. From a narrative standpoint it's a coop out if the game is spent looking for character "X" for them to die a short while later. As for the others, who ever they maybe, I can't see them being offed if only because it's too obvious. Since it's a "Keyblade War" everyone expects as least one (good) person to die and since there's such a short roster, everyone has been theorized half to death (no pun intended).

well, that's one of the only exceptions.  even the villians die by cliff, so you can't see them.  besides, Bambi's mom isn't a main character.  a good part of the story is the "out on his own" bit, though.

Sleeping Beauty? Killing Maleficent (Dragon) was pretty brutal. The movie is dark as hell in general actually.

Probably not Sora, even in the next saga he's supposed to be the protagonist so maybe he'll end up fused with MX except in control with a rougher personality or something.

I figured something like this, maybe Riku has to trap all 13 in the realm of darkness by holding them back and trapping himself there too. People still can't even agree on who the 7 lights are actually gonna be so yeah. If Roxas and Xion and Namine in fact can't be their own people it would be pretty messed up for Lea to be left all alone so maybe him. I could see Terra possessing a darkness or something to let them strike him down while he's in control. No Disney characters will die. Ventus already slept for a long time so he could always just be put to sleep for one reason or another after the battle. I dunno who the other possible lights are, I figured it was just keyblade wielders.

there's a sword, then she falls off a cliff.  seriously.

Still dark for a Disney movie, especially compared to the new happy ass movies.

I think sora will die, but then be brought back to life by Ventus.

This.

I honestly doubt any of them would die. And if they do die they'd probably come back. xD

none of them will die

none of them will die

All of them will die... except Mickey

Mickey, just Mickey (could you imagine)

I don't really think any of them will die.

I think if any of them were gonna die it would be Lea.

Lea and Riku are my predictions. Lea will sacrifice his life to destroy Sai'x for good. As for Riku, I'd imagine the Seeker of Darkness will somehow get the upper hand and kill him in a cheap way, causing Sora to go berserk and kill the Seeker of Darkness relentlessly.

As for death in Disney, it definitely exists its just not straight forward, its implied

As for a death in KH, if it ever were to happen it needs to be COMPLETELY unexpected...like Neji *sniff*...and happen in a unexpected way...

There's no concept of death in Kingdom Hearts >:U

I literally don't think any of the lights will die.

Well, they sure seemed to think that Goofy had died in KHII, so death must exist somewhere in there.

If they're going to actually kill someone, I'd say it'll happen in the third game, because if a person in KH consists of a body, a heart, and a soul, they've addressed body and heart with a main game for each. Thus I guess that a soul theme would sort of work out for the third game in that way.

As for whether or not they will actually kill an important character... I dunno.  Even if someone does die, if it's a main character, they'll probably pull a Balthier or something.  I don't really see Nomura killing off a good guy permanently.  But like I said, who knows.

All of them will die... except Mickey

Sora is going to be the main character for the next saga, so you are wrong just on that point alone

Death "exists", it's just not permanent. When the body expires, via, the soul leaving the body, normally the heart returns to KH, and for all intensive purposes, is reincarnated into a new person. Since a person's heart contains their true being and as far as it's known hearts them selves can't be destroyed so "true" death doesn't exist. But when a person's heart does go back to KH they're essentially reset, their memories and life experiences wiped clean to begin anew. That's pretty much why MX started his vessel quest to begin with, he was getting old and he feared all his precious knowledge would go to waste and he couldn't use it to attain his goals and fulfill his curiosity.
