Caity 3,946 Posted January 11, 2013 It's okay, where my country is positioned based on tectonic plates and air currents, my country won't heat up. No, everyone else will get warm, and we're gonna get more rain, and colder.
King Riku 2,063 Posted January 11, 2013 Is there any proof this is really 'global warming'? It's just the earth doing as it does. How do you explain the ice age? Although you really should recycle. Save trees and shit so we have cleaner air to breath. 2 axele and Queen Tery reacted to this

Col.Random 3,683 Posted January 11, 2013 Is there any proof this is really 'global warming'? Well maybe not, imean aside from the fact that there's so much pollution every day there's a high probability that it IS global warming.Perhaps you're right about the ice age bit, but....well we're still screwed ._. Sora96 17,256 Posted January 12, 2013 Global Warming doesn't exist. Climate Change is what really exists. And yes the greatest country in the world has been going through record heat at the moment but it's not a big deal. Putting out the bushfires is much more important than worrying about how hot the hottest country (In more ways than one.) in the world is. 1 Zola reacted to this

Global Warming DOES exist and it's been confirmed by scientists. We ARE contributing to it and speeding up the process. This is a non-debate.

Actually, it's more of a super debate, with neither side being completely right, and the actual correctness levels varying constantly Also you have too much faith in science

hatok 6,413 Posted January 13, 2013 People are still worrying about global warming....wow guess theres nothing else to worry about in this world. There's literally everything in the world to worry about. Doesn't mean we should IGNORE problems because greater ones exist. If that were the case, wouldn't we be focused on preventing the sun from blowing up and incinerating our planet?

If that were the case, wouldn't we be focused on preventing the sun from blowing up and incinerating our planet? yeah I was joking....just gonna make that clear. To be honest I don't look at the world in a scientific way. If the sun was to blow up do you think you would still be here? The time the sun blows up your life on this world will already be over. No need to worry then. Sorry I just can't worry about global warming when THERE IS greater problems in this world.

The sun will eventually be our problem if we find our way around all the other problems we reach along the way. And no, bigger problems do not require smaller sights. It's just an excuse, and it's lazy. If you can legitimize not caring about something simply because tehre's 'worse' then you run the risk of completely detaching yourself from the world 1 Zola reacted to this
Zola 3,038 Posted January 13, 2013 You're joking right? Global Warming DOES exist and it's been confirmed by scientists. We ARE contributing to it and speeding up the process. This is a non-debate. The thing about that is that, scientifically, it is called Climate Change, not Global Warming. That is all that was being said in that post.
OthersiderME 614 Posted January 13, 2013 The thing about that is that, scientifically, it is called Climate Change, not Global Warming. That is all that was being said in that post. Mostly called this owing to the fact that the world isn't getting warmer, but the weather is becoming more drastic. I don't know about other places, but it wasn't 20 degrees Fahrenheit last year around this time. That's not exactly "warming," you see.
