What a Ruby/Sapphire remake would look like

Featured Replies

Although it'd actually look more like X/Y now (they'd hardly go back to the DS system, even for remakes), this makes me happy. <3 Looks awesome.

Factoring awesome man! It looks like the real DS game!

I hope to see a 3DS remake!

Who made these? Are they going to make a playable version of this?

I found them on Google.  It was made by someone on Deviantart.

Dam...

Well I'd love to play this anyway.

Daaaang, those look really awesome

I have the feeling that the reason why we are going into the next gen now is because there might be changes in evolution charts for Hoenn pokemon and that they would want us to get those before we go back to Hoenn on a 3DS remake of Ruby and Sapphire (somehow I hope for a Emerald remake since Emerald is one of the best pokemon games.)

They would cover the Emerald content in the remakes. They did so for Crystal in HeartGold and SoulSilver.

It looks like it was built in RPGMaker, so don't give up hope just yet

Still, Emerald is one of the best games in the series.

Everything in Emerald would be in the remakes.

That looks really amazing! :D

My least favorite region getting a remake....YAY!

This, I didn't think about that. I like how it looks but I guess they would use the 3ds for a remake.

I'd prefer this over a 3DS remake in the X and Y style. X and Y is just throwing all I've come to expect of Pokémon (graphics wise) away to go 3D. Remaking Hoenn in 3D would ruin the appeal of the games for me. A new region in 3D, I can accept, but an old region in full 3D, no thanks.

If it's gonna go 3D for a Gen III remake, then I hope they go with Pokémon Colusseum and xD, then add more Pokémon in so we have the entire Hoenn Dex.

Wow,if this would've been real it could've been amazing

I heard that there is a twitter page called Operation Hoeen dedicated to demand a Gen III remake

A remake during Gen 6 would be great for R/S/E. The lack of GBA port as well on the 3DS is a good reason to remake the games for the 3DS.

Those screens though gave me serious nostalgic feels.

This makes me want a remake of those gens so badly. Actually, a remake of the first gen on the 3DS would be great too. I'm a sucker for those remakes.

I doubt we'll get one in this style now that the series is shifting to the 3DS though.

It kinda...looks like HG/SS for some reason.
