How Often Do You Take Defensive Actions?

Posted

Do you mash the attack button most of the time, or do you use defensive actions often (Guarding, Rolling, etc.)?

Featured Replies

I balance among attack, blocking, and dodging.

I usually do a combo and then stay away from the boss for a bit or gaurd etc. if needed then attack again.

Depends on the difficulty of the game. The only time I used defensive action in KH2 was during the Sephiroth battle.

Gonna be honest, I don't block much xD I just use cure a lot

I would combo, then roll away sometimes

I don't really block

I just try to dodge

depends on the opponent

i'd run away like just like a school of piranhas were trying to eat my pants off

I thought the question meant in real life...

Depends on the boss for me, but sometimes I just use guard, or dodge roll during boss fights because it makes me feel cool loolz :P

I block a lot then I try to attack as much as I can.

Depends on the game.

I strategize, so....it depends.

I dodge more than I block tbh. The only time I block more than dodge is if I have barrier. σωσ

If the enemy is stronger I go defensive but if he weak enough I'm on offensive.

The only time blocking has been my strategy, is going against Terranort at the end of Terras story. Blocking is mandatory in that fight pretty much.

Going the defensive route might make for an interesting playthrough someday... hmm.

I attack aggressively and block when I need to, if I have to I will dodge.

Double-mash

But most the time, I actually think in split-seconds like a boss
