In your opinion of course. Many of them are great actually.

Final Fantasy IV has great themes like Battle with the Four Fiends. Final Fantasy V has a lot of whimsical themes with more intense ones too like The Evil Lord Exdeath.

I personally find Final Fantasy II the best so far, with Revification, the Battle Theme, the Boss theme, The Final Battle, and of course:

Ooh, altogether soundtrack? That one's tricky. I'm going to opt for IX. I like the beats on a lot of the songs. Songs that come to mind are Vivi's theme, Quina's theme, Black Mage Village, Jesters of a Moonless Night, Messenger of Darkness, and Beyond the Door. And, of course, Melodies of Life.

VIII (Don't be afraid, Love grows, Balamb Garden to name a few), X (to zanarkand, battle theme, Rikku's theme, end theme to name a few), and IV's Theme of Love. Gets me every time, especially when it was translated into an orchestral piece :') Oh, and FF13. Not bad actually.But general music from one game? X.

Singular game considering the entire soundtrack? I'd have to say XIII. A lot of my favorite battle music comes from XIII. "Blinded by Light", "Fighting Fate", "Nascant Requiem", and of course "Born Anew". And if you need to mellow out, you have "Dust to Dust".

Screw the scenery music in XIII-2. You need the Crazy Chocobo theme.

You're asking a very difficult question here, since I love several songs from each one I've played.  But if I had to find one title that had an exceptionally good soundtrack all the way around, I'd have to say either VII or X.

Yes! This is my absolute favorite out of all the FFIX songs.

I'd have to say XIII-2 has the best, i mean just listen to this:

It would be easier to pick which has the worst. But if I have to pick a favorite, it would be VII. The tracks in that game always just fit so well with the scenes/characters that they were paired with. I can't think of any song that I dislike. (Okay, maybe the Gold Saucer theme annoyed me after a while, but that's what happens when you spend too much time there chocobo racing. )

The crystal tower's them from final fantasy 3 was amazing and verry memorable, same with the opening theme for 1 and 2, 7 had one of the best in general, 10 was failry decent, and 13 i liked a lot, but crysis core and 7 were my favorite over all

I think that this might be one of my most fav FF songs.

The best in my opinion is FF IX ost, I have said it before and I going to say it again Nobuo Uematsu is a genius and this soundtrack proves it.
