When Kingdom Hearts Three finally gets its payday... do you think the 'three' part of the title will be portrayed in Numerical, '3', or in Roman Numerals, 'III'?

The reason I wonder is because...

If we assume that the HD collections are named 1.5 and 2.5, numerically, and that they are leading up to Three, then it will be '3', for symmetry.

But KH2 had a roman numeral... so that also would be symmetrical.

It's a purely cosmetic thing. It has no bearing on anything. But is a thing to ponder...

I think it'll have III on the artworks, boxart, etc. so probably III

Roman numeral. As we see with FF titles Nomura likes roman numerals. xP

Well think about it, which one of these is symmetrical:

a. I-1.5-II-2.5-3

or

b. I-1.5-II-2.5-III

Well obviously b. so I think it'll most likely be a roman numeral, that and I mean they do it for Final Fantasy so why stray off the path?

OCDness alert.

Kidding. But uh, I would think numerals since that's always been the standard for the other titles.

Why would you include I and II in the pattern? You're counting I, 1.5, II and 2.5, so you're counting the same game twice for both. And the first KH is not numbered, it is simply Kingdom Hearts.

And as for your second point... Has Kingdom Hearts ever been a part of the path? Nothing about KH is conventional.

The pattern would either be-

1.5, 2.5, 3.

Or:

Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts III.

Both make sense. The question is merely which one they go with. Yes, roman numerals are more conventional... but Kingdom Hearts is anything but conventional.

Idk, I guess I just wanted a numerical order, which would be that way. As well as which would be the best way it'd probably be III, because 1.5 and 2.5 won't be original games like KH and KHII, KHIII will so it categorizes with the originals better. If there's a KH3.5 then that would categorize with 1.5 and 2.5. Also doesn't KH have an entire organization dedicated to roman numerals? lol

Roman numerals. They look better

They will do what they did with KH2.

It will be in Roman numerals, but written as KH3. I like Roman numerals. :)

I think  : Kingdom Hearts 2.99999999----Square logic xD

umm... what?

umm... what?

In typing, it will be shown as KH3. For the title on the game cover, it will be shown as Kingdom Hearts III.

you know, that actually seems like a good possibility. Kh2 did the same thing in fact so it'd make sense.

I'm guessing it'll be in Roman numerals, since Kingdom Hearts II was and they'd probably want to follow the same trend.  (Though you definitely have a good point. :D)
