I could never relate much to people at school either. xD

the average girl: DAMMIT MY FINGERNAILS DONT MATCH MY TOENAILS!

me: ........okay.....

the average guy: HOLY SHIT WHENS THE NEXT COD COMING OUT, THE COMMUNITY HAS BEEN WAITING SOOO LONG FOR THE NEXT UPCOMING SEQULE!?!?!

me: I hear kingdom hearts hd is coming out :D

them: .....

me: ....ill leave

Wait why would a girl be worried about her toenails? Do people just wear flip flops at your school?

And didn't Black Ops 2 just come out? I mean we're still early into the year and that game is still pretty new

Though I'm guessing this was something slightly exaggerated

If I was at your school or vice versa, we can totally relate.

The only minor problem would be me fanboying over Kairi xD

No, they don't and no, I am not exaggerating at all!

Wow that sounds Terrafying

The whole CoD thing with guys is probably why I don't hang out with most of them, but my group of friends (all female xD) luckily aren't so hung up on that stuff

8 for me :/

8 for me :/

Well that's sucks,lol~ xD

I just do my own thing and always end up with a posse of people with compatible weirdness somehow. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I say just be yourself and you'll probably run into plenty of other children from the geekling realm soon enough.

youve got a point there. its as if Call of Duty is the only game series out there

COD mind control is still spreading. Good thing Im immune.

COD mind control is still spreading. Good thing Im immune.

people who had or is currently having a childhood don't need cod, meanwhile, were still playing Mario and rayman on the dusty n64

I guess i've committed the ultimate fashion crime as my fingers are green and my toenails are red.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Things get better in College.?

If cod and fingernails are whats popular then why dont you just try cod and fingernails..... it cant be that bad, I like kingdom hearts and violent shooters alike so why dont you try out there stuff and have them try out yours.....

I also can't relate to almost everyone at my school. Mostly I keep to myself, I had a huge Kingdom Hearts moments once and some of my friends were just like, okay, you're really strange. Luckily I know some people who are really awesome and I can be who I am with those.

Everytime a girl talks to me about fashion or her fingernails I only smile awkwardly and ignore it. :] I prefer when people look strange at me rather than being a part of the whole big group I don't want to be a part of.

Don't worry, in a few years you won't see all these people ever again and you can always choose who you want to spend time with.

Good thing you found us! :) Living in the middle of 'naive' people makes you appreciate real friends, friends who accept you as you are and you don't have to act anything. Oh what am I talking, I should just keep my mouth shut... :'D

But remember, you can always have a chat with me if you feel like it. :)

But what does COD stand for? Cloud of Darkness? Cunt of Death?

HAHAHAHA oh wow

Hmm unlike what seems to be everybody else, my high school days were pretty great. I wasn't at the top of the student hierarchy, but not at the bottom either. I had/have a great group of friends. We would hang out every recess and lunch and whatever classes we had together. And if none of my closest friends were in my class, I had plenty of other friends I could still sit and chat with.

I'm going to assume you live in USA, and the only knowledge I have of the school system over there is from TV shows. I have no idea how true to real life those shows are, but it makes school look like it can be pretty rough; bullying is ever present and people are very judgmental. I don't know if my and my friends' school experience is the same for majority of Aussie kids, but if so, then it's pretty good. Maybe we're all just more laid back. Eh I don't know. I've written too much already.

I have some Otaku friends, and they are probably the weirdest people living on this planet. At least, one is. But I know no one interested in Kingdom Hearts, it's all Battlefield, CoD, and Halo. Even the "Console War" is still going on at my school. Also:

Not as much as eight though. I feel sorry for you. The only one deserving of the acronym CoD is Final Fantasy III's Cloud of Darkness

there's only about 8 people in my school i can relate to
