I use the name Reiku, for it was what I have always been called in my dreams and nightmares. heh

Used to be CaityTrina (is my PS3 name), more recently I'd typically put in CaityRaindrop since that's the name I use for everything and I don't want to have a variety of game names.  If there's a field size restriction "Caity", if it's role playing game it's still Caity but with Princess or mage or something in it.

If a character has an established name, I just use that.If not, "Jilly Shears" (or just "Jilly' if there's a field restriction).

I tend to be those people who name their characters either based off of shows/other games/movies or just give it a creative name.

In Final Fantasy games I always keep the default. At least I do on the first playthrough, but since I've never gotten past the first playthrough on any of them, then yeah.

 

When I played Skyrim on my friends PS3, I went with the name "Umbra", because it was an all black Kajiit and the word used for ultimate shadow seemed fitting.

 

And for some reason I went with "Erin" on this playthrough of Fallout 3. No idea why. It just hit me and I ran with it.

Most of the time I just use my own name. Sometimes I'll use Kazari, which is based off my name, but sounds cooler. 

Most or the time it's Forte, but depending on the game, it's sometimes different. Especially if my name ends up being taken... A lot. >_>
