I recently read the interview about DDD and Nomura said that whenever they make KHIII possibly all of the character who are in Sora's heart (Xion,Ven,Roxas,Vanitas) would be in it. I'm not really sure if this is going to happen but if it does,I'll go all fangirl!

lol its disney so we ultimately know who has to win if it was just square it may have been different

Along with the release of the game for Kingdom Hearts 3DS, Japan had the release of the Kingdom Hearts 3DS Ultimania book, which serves as both a strategy guide and an artbook. Within the book, it quotes Tetsuya Nomura as saying that the team has "started making a variety of movements for the new title(s) in the series," and that he "believes they'll be able to make an announcement pretty soon."And he didn't stop there. He squashed rumors of a sequel to Birth by Sleep and a Final Mix version of Kingdom Hearts 3DS.

Not really. There would be literally no point in introducing a huge character in a very popular game of the series to not have it mean anything. Nomura has had KH 3's story written probably even before Days came out so it's apparent he's planning something. He just takes forever to move the story along.

For Roxas and Xion, I actually want them to stay gone. Don't get me wrong: I love both characters. But it's because I love them both that I want them to stay gone. Their stories have been neatly done: they had a rise and fall, and their tales have been concluded. In a series full of unresolved plot points, there's have not only been finished, but finished satisfactory. To bring them back would cheapen the tragic aspect, because unlike certain other attempts at tragedy in the series, these two actually lost something that can never be regained. If they were to gain, well, it would kill the previously established drama.

 

For Vanitas: I only want him to come back so Sora can kill him in a trice, expose him for the failure that he is, and then send him on his way, never to be seen again.

 

For Ven... I guess you have to do something with him, what with all the cliff hangers surrounding him. Though you don't really need to. His quest has been fulfilled. Really, he could have died, and it still would have worked. Honestly, if they bring him back, I don't even know what you could do with his character arc. He's already reached the climax of his emotional quest. There's not much else for him to do.
