The thing that Days did right in terms of gameplay

Posted

Customization.

You can physically edit each of your weapons to make it stronger in certain fields and magic actually acts differently at higher levels. Like how Cure heals you, cura heals you over time and Curaga gives off a healing field. I actually found myself using Cura more than Curaga in Days. That's a main concept I'd like to see in future Kingdom Hearts games. And of course the other panels can customize but those are pretty normal abilities for Kingdom Hearts.

Yeah, the customization was a good part of Days.  Any bad parts of Days were probably due to the limitations of the DS.  I really would have loved to see a remake of Days, but obviously that would have taken too long.

Days did have alot of good components when it came to customization, yet most people think its crap. So sad.

It's what I enjoyed as well.  I'm a sucker for customization.  A lot of people hated the panel system, but even if it got tedious at times, it was catharthic to me to organize what you want to take into battle.

I loved the costumization. That was tons of fun!!! Now i'm playing around with it on Proud Mode, as well. Yay. :D

And, the tailgating magic, imo, was also just pretty darn awesome. It made me feel sooooo powerful >3

Espesally when it like would one hit KO like everyone. Woot.

I loved the customization system the game offered. And I liked the panels and the way you level up very much.

Yeah, I liked that too. And panels. You really had to think what to put there. And even though the heartless seem to be quite irritating to fight sometimes (when they're not actually HARD but it just takes a lot of time to finish them and you can just do some same attacks over and over again..) I think there was something nice in them too. Like, in many other KH games it doesn't really matter that much do you hit them or attack with fire or blizzard. There's some difference but not so much really (maybe just because it doesn't take so long to finish enemies in other games), but in Days it really is helpful to attack a heartless with a specifick attack which it has weakness to.

;o what? never noticed it,

i know

judge me ;p[

both of the ds titles had fantastic customisation, i got addicted to both games, spent 80+ 100%ing days :D fantastic games

I totally agree with you Weiss.

The customization was one of my favorite things about the game. Even as I was playkng it, I thought I love this! This is awesome! In all the other kh games I never really customized anything or do anything with abilities or anythingcause I couldn't stand the system. With days, it w was simple and easy to use.

Yeah! The customization was awesome!

It did everything right. Well some parts were a bit repetitive but customization was great!

Aero was epic in Days. Just saying.
