June 4, 201312 yr I swear, so many people I know could use this. Being an introvert myself, it pisses me off when people just instantly classify me as antisocial or something. I'm just no good at interaction.
June 4, 201312 yr In the earlier stages of my life, before I understood what an introvert is, I just always assumed I was antisocial or something. Felt pretty shitty that I wasn't like all the other kids I knew. It wasn't until I saw this that I realized there was an actual classification for it... I'm an introvert, and I'm proud of it. Good on ya' for posting this image (and for actually saying something about it in the post instead of just copy and pasting it like a certain other someone). I don't think there are many people out there who are really aware of the distinction.
June 4, 201312 yr In an increasingly extroverted world, I'm glad people are taking the time out to understand introversion and how it's the way some people are (myself included) and is not something that can be "fixed".
June 5, 201312 yr I'm just anti-social. Sigh. i'm not sure how you are using that classification, but aren't people who are anti-social have like a disorder? called anti-social personality disorder? meaning that you have no moral regard whatsoever and normally the classification is given to criminals who have no remorse for their actions. I hope this is not you.

I hope this is not you. That's pretty rude. Not everyone who is anti-social has a personality disorder. You can be neurotypical and not like being around people. Being an anti-social is also a symptom of autism and I'm pretty sure most autistics aren't criminals.

June 5, 201312 yr no the term you are thinking of is asocial not antisocial Funny, I guess the psychologist who diagnosed me was lying about the symptoms then! Who knew!?

I hope this is not you. Bro you're talking about what is usually sociopathy or psychopathy (not much difference between them). I'm anti-social. Although I do show symptoms of sociopathy, I've always hated how they changed sociopathy to antisocial disorder. Anti-socials are not always sociopaths and sociopaths are not always anti-social. Anti social behavior is just behavior society has said is not normal. Not interacting with your peers is not normal, so it's considered anti-social behaviour. Edited June 6, 201312 yr by Number XV

They talk about anti-social disorder with the symptoms i already typed out. thank you for correcting me
