So, is there any characters in a video game who's death made you feel a bit sad or emotional?For me yeah. The first game that made me feel kinda sad for a video game character was MGS1. Seeing Sniper Wolf die was a bit sad especially with "Enclosure" playing in the background. I kinda felt sorry for her after hearing her backstory and how she turned out to be not so bad after all.

Same here. It was actually the only GAME scene to ever make me cry. It was really well executed.

I always felt bad for Grog from Ocarina of Time.

 

You know, that punk dude who says that people disgust him, and later sends you on part of the biggoron sword sidequest, only to die in the lost woods before you can bring him medicine?  Yeah.

 

Not to mention that Kokori girl who stays around and taunts you afterwards gives me the creeps.

Aerith in FF7 was unexpected.... sniff.

Also in Valkiria Chronicles... Selvaria and Isara... T_T

And + why just being sad for one person when too many perished like this:

OH GOD WHY

When i thought axel was gone for good in kh2

Well... I cried alot when:

 

Xion vanished.

 

Lee Everett died.

 

This was the most tragic "death", it was not a death, but it was very sad, very very sad.

 I cried actually, 8 year old kid playing this the first time...

  :'( :'(

Axel's death was very sad. When I first played KH2 it wasn't that sad, because then I didn't like Axel that much yet. But nowadays I become sad always when I play that part...

Xion's death was sad too, although it wasn't that sad because I had seen it before playing the actual game.

 

In FFXII I was very sad when Vossler died. Me and my sister (mosokisa) hated him for always stepping in traps, but we got really sad when he died. It wasn't even very sad death, and I still don't like him that much, but still... I feel bad for him.

Shadow of the Colossus. That ending, man. THAT ending. 

Zack and Aerith's deaths always get me... so does Damas from Jak 3. D:
