WTF is this nonsense????

Browsing TV and channels and music???

All of this entertainment nonsense I can already do without it anyway.....This is the exact same nonsense that made them lose E3 last year

At least Sony and Nintendo focus on......Oh I dunno.....GAMES

They announced 15 new exclusives :/

Fanboys... fanboys everywhere.

WHERE ARE ALL THOSE EXCLUSIVE.???

I know the won't reveal everything now,but at least something compared to the PS4

What we saw today is just a TV not a gaming console

I'm not a fanboy.

All the Playstation 4 reveal was were Asian and British people masturbating over graphics with little focus on the actual console. Here Microsoft is focusing a lot on the console but not enough on any of the games.

Both approaches are total shit and a middle ground needs to be made.

Man

The next gen of gaming looks so boooooooooooooooooooooring.

Might stick with my Ps2 instead of this nonsense

Xbox One will not play Xbox 360 games. This is duo to the architucture of the two consoles being significantly different.

“The system is based on a different core architecture, so back-compat doesn’t really work from that perspective,” Marc Whitten, corporate vice president of Xbox Live shared in an interview.

I think they kind of blew to conference by showing a bunch of things that a lot of gamers don't care to much about.  The only game they showed that had gameplay was Call of Duty. Which I understand a lot of people enjoy but it doesn't show much of what's new. It reminds me of E3 last year when they showed a bunch of things on kinect that people weren't to excited about.

Agreed, but it looks like they will save that for E3. Both Sony and Microsoft are taken the reverse approaches of each other. In Microsoft's case, showing off the console at their reveal, then the games at E3. With Sony they will show off the games first, and then the console at E3. Again, I'd rather see them split it half and half.

I'm just curious to what the 15 exclusives are. Will they be sequels to current franchises? Will they be reboots of old Xbox 360 and even Xbox franchises that died out? Or will they be completely new series? I'm hoping for the latter but we'll probably get the first two instead;

This is why I love Nintendo. Sony and Microsoft (especially Microsoft) seem to focus most on things that don't really matter (such as graphics, DLC multiplayer, etc.), wheras Nintendo's main focus is actually making great games and coming up with new ways to play them. If all game companys thought that way, we'd be practically drowning in great games.

Yeah I'm curious about the exclusive.

I'm also interested to see what people will find more appealing between the PS4 being able to stream games and the XBOX putting it on DVR and sharing. (At least that's what it sounds like Microsoft was saying.)

Microsoft confirmed after the conference that the XBOX is not always online.

Only thing I liked was the voice command to switch between games and tv, etc. Makes things easier for old people playing games.

This conference kind of makes me wonder how much the extra features help a console sell.  Of course hard core gamers are just looking at the games, but there are only so many of those.  How do you get people who casually play games to throw out the money for such an expensive system?  Of course we don't care so much, but I don't think Microsoft presented these entertainment features by chance.  These things may play a bigger role than we may notice.
