...that sounds like bad AI

Yeah, it is bad AI. At that point it becomes something along the lines of RNG instead of posing an actual challenge with a fair playing field.

Amiibos are also in this group, since once they reach a certain level they deal more damage, regardless whether or not you feed them with equipment.

If you're training, I highly recommend playing against humans, since that's who you're supposed to be fighting in the first place. Computers are unnatrual, and will give you habits that are bad against humans.

If you don't have anyone to spar with, play with a level 7 computer, since I think they are the most fair.

Not to mention lv 9's tend to be stupid by going after the player/cpu most damaged that they stay in the edge of the stage while he/she attempts to recover. Meanwhile if you're not the victim, just charge a smash attack at the idiot lv 9's standing on the edge.

I must be the only one who's fought fair level 9 CPUs. I don't have any sort of problem with them. Shulk is the only one of my mains who doesn't typically win against them (Of course I suck with my favorite game character... Ugh.)

Of course, they don't have 1 frame reactions all the time. If that was the case, they would win every time.

They do have them though, which is dumb in the first place. It's completely unfair and it doesn't help when fighting against humans.

I did encounter more problems with AI using counters at impossibly precise moments than any other kind of AI issue

I've finally got a chance to play smash brothers 4. I have a lot more characters I like to play as. Now I like to play as Toon Link, Link, Doctor Mario, Diddy Kong, Pit, and Dark Pit.

Just some food for thought:

>No definitive tier list (then again it doesn't make much of a difference if there was one, unless it's like Ganon against Snake back in Brawl, for example.)

>Customs used

But I agree that Shulk is a type of character you should be less aggressive with; let them come to you.

The point is based on the fact that there are competitive players (people who make a profession out of this) saying that the tier list is pointless bullshit that never matters.

Yeah, he's a character that rewards patience. You can't just rush in and go aggro like you're playing Sheik or Diddy, you gotta be patience and strategic. You gotta actually think, which is something i like.

I've been putting a lot of work into my Ness. Why have I never picked this wonderful little guy up before?!

I've been using him in Brawl on and off, and he became my new main the summer before Smash 4 was released. He's really good, and even better now in Smash 4.

Yeah, I picked him up in the 3DS version. I always thought he was too much work because of his PK Thunder. I also love how deadly his PK Flash is.

OH. MY. GOD.

SAKURAI YOU'RE THE BEST!!!!!!!! LUCAS IS FREAKING BACK, YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!

I'm so freaking happy right now, you guys have no idea. This is the best reveal since Shulk (in my opinion).

Also, i liked that "Lucas comes from out of Nowhere" tagline, referencing his home being the Nowhere Islands. : DDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Guys, we can vote for any new character for the games! I voted for KH's Sora!

I'm afraid people will put the silliest options. *Looks at certain anime characters*

I also added Sora as I can't think of anyone else who was in a Nintendo system, 3rd party character, and has a good chance.

Lucas is back, this is awesome!! As for the character I want them to add,I'm not really sure,I wanted Ghirahim and Dark Samus, but they are assist trophies,so I might recommend Rayman,Dixie Kong or King K.Rool.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS LUCAS. WHO NEEDS MEWTWO WE GOT LUCAS.

Also, trying to decide who to vote for in Smash...

I voted for Kingdom Hearts 2 Sora. I also gave a very detailed description on why Sora from Kingdom Hearts 2 should be Smash Brothers.

No Snake love?

Haven't played any of his games, but the way he played in Brawl was unique and fun. Definitely want him back.

Voted for Professor Layton for Smash. Final Smash: Puzzle of doom LOGIC

And that man is OP when a stick, cane or SWORD is in his hands >////<
