Ever since Final Fantasy XIII went to the Xbox 360,we've been seeing the term "exclusive" becoming less and less relevant as the time went on.
Games that were exclusives in the past are now going the multiplatform route and even games that were exclusives for months just went multiplatform.
Hell,MGS 5 is now on more than one console despite that MGS4 was a Ps3 exclusive(Could've released on 360 easily if you ask me).
So,in the future,it's becoming more obvious that there won't be any third party exclusives unless the developer of said third party is being funded to develop the game or by signing a partnership with them (a.k.a Bayonetta 2 and Sonic Lost World)
Consoles now are becoming more of a TV channels(Well, the Xbox One is already is),shows won't be aired exclusively on said channel unless the channel pays the studio to do so.
