Though, he doesn't seem to fit the theme of the other secret bosses, who were all Kingdom Hearts original characters.

In any case, he can just be another boss in the end that you will need to fight.  He can be one of the final bosses, as I expect, there will be multiple bosses.

That theory is very interesting indeed.  But would Disney really approve of their mascot falling into Darkness?  I mean think about the marketing campaign?  It would be nice if SE and Disney's relationship has led to more experimental things like this, but I wouldn't think so.  But I am rooting for this theory, it would be very interesting!

That's true. We'll never know until KH3 comes out, though. I still think it'd be awesome if we got all original KH characters as the 7 lights personally, which is one reason why I love that theory. Both Lea and Terra should get a shot.

Well even if Terra doesn't, Roxas could get a shot at the spot light again, or maybe even Xion!

come to think of it, kh3's story looks to be shaping up similarly to dissidia with the whole "final clash of light and dark"

Oh, yess... Roxas or Xion would definitely be welcome members. Xion needs something to get the anti-Xion folk off her back, anyway. Not that that'll help them, probably... They'll just whine and ignore all character development she gets.

Well, Julius turned Mickey into THIS:

In in actual Disney movie so it's definitely possible. So they wouldn't deny them doing this. I'm pretty sure that's the whole reason Julius is even in KH. Why would they bring him in, without them using his brain-switching power? That was the whole point of that movie.

Ok, so Mickey is the 13th Darkness and becomes the new Big Bad in KHIV. 

 

I imagine it going a little something like this.

"I own all this now! Haha. I own Kingdom Hearts, I own Destiny Islands, it's all MINE! Haha."

 

Srsly though, hoping it won't happen. I like the OCs but, not having Mickey as a GoL would feel like KH is abandoning it's roots to me, even more so if he became a SoD

Well it's not like it would be permanent. They'd have to change him/get him back somehow ya know, so having it happen for a little while in KH3 wouldn't be too bad.

It makes enough sense to work but it just wouldn't sit well with the rest of the story. Considering how "cluttered" it appears kh3 would be I couldn't imagine them pulling such a twist as this.

Julius was honestly just thrown in there for fun, just like the Vanitas Sentiment in BBS. 

If he shows up later, SWEET. But he won't be to make Mickey a darkness or anything like that.

While anything is possible I think we should bear in mind that Maleficent who is no longer operating according to Xehanort's plans is working on her own method of universal dominantion. This method whatever it is involves "big plans" for Pete *Hint Hint* At any rate it seems highly unlikely that Mickey who has none of the qualities necessary of a successful vessel would become the thirteenth darkness.

What if Julius turned into a possessed Mickey. Then he might become one of the 13 Darknesses.

I think this is the perfect way to introduce Oswald as a possible villain figure in the kh 3 story, he kidnaps Mickey and switches his brain

Terra will be last after the new "Keyblade War" ends with Xehanort losing in defeat. Terra will then get control of his body again and the trio will go back to being happy.

4. Aqua

5. Ventus

6. Lea

7. Kairi??? (If not I believe it will be a new character)

Lea will be a light because he will do anything to help Isa. Isa will not die from the Keyblade War, but he will remain loyal until an epic fight between him and Lea. Everyone will be happy. Sora will be with Kairi. Riku will be alone lol, but being a Keyblade Master he will be just as awesome and powerful as Eraqus was. Aqua will rebuild the Land of Departure with the help of Terra and Ven of course and they will go to Disneyland with Ven's 3 cards lol. She will also be the master/ruler of the land kind of like Eraqus was. Yen Sid will retire and King Mickey will be the wise master reigning in his castle with his two beloved guards Donald and Goofy. And Namine... I couldn't give a crap lol, I guess she will live on in Kairi.

I would have to actually say IMO Lea is more likely not to be a light than Kairi. I sense tragedy in his future just to annoy us fans! (I am probably wrong...) And unless Mickey becomes the 13th Vessel I have to agree he is not one of the 13 darknesses. And I know your post was partially just to make a nice ending for everyone.
