Alright. So yesterday I got a $20 PSN (Play-Station Network) card, so I could get a game for my PSP off of the PlayStation Store. I'm unsure of what game to get at the moment, but my three ideas were:

012 Dissidia Duodecim

Final Fantasy VII

Persona 3

I only have 1.9 GB of space, so I won't exactly be able to get a lot, seeing as most games are at least a full gig. I'm not sure which one is the best buy, but I know I could use a good recommendation or advice. Heck, maybe even a recommendation for another game would be neat. And as you can see from here, I really like RPGs.

Anyone have a good idea, or any recommendations?

This is hard. But in the end I think Persona 3 is the best buy. FFVII is epic, but P3 touches the soul in a way most games can't.

I personally would go for FFVII (I've never had an interest in Persona) but a lot of people will suggest Persona 3, it's very popular from all the multiple status' I've seen of it

My biggest problem is that the PSP version lacks the free-roaming of the original game. Sure, I never played the original Persona 3..

Yes, I get that same feeling. Jeez...this is so hard..

I would say persona 3 because even though you don't get to walk around you get to play as the female mc and have different social links and the story's the same but i get where your coming from

well out of that list ff 7 is the obvious choice but...

i'd reccomend trying disgaea, youll get more gameplay out of it than any other rpg

All of those games are solid choices but Persona 3 takes cake obviously

Other games you should consider buying:

Valkyria Chronicles 2

Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker

Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow

Both God of War games for PSP

Final Fantasy Tactics

Capcom Collection 1&2

Sega Mega Drive Collection

Metal Slug X

God Eater

Monster Hunter Freedom Portable

Star Ocean 1&2

I'm heavily debating on Persona 3..can someone tell me what it's like? For example, combat, story, stuff like that. I know there's school life and dating sim stuff mixed in, but I'd like to know more about it before I buy it.

Dissidia 012 is good, it even has the first games story so yeah

Peace Walker, awwww yeah

You basically are boy (or girl in new story of P3P) who transfers to his new school and notices that he has special powers like few others that can live during hidden hour called dark hour where normal people turn to coffins and basically sleep through it. During dark hour world changes and monsters called shadows appear in city and your school turns to tower called Tartarus.

It is up to you and your friends to explore Tartarus and find cause of Dark Hour and then end it.

The combat is simple and easy to grasp if you have played like Final Fantasy. You have basic attack, guard, escape, skills, tactics (if you don't want to control your teammates manually) and persona change. Personas are your main tool of battle and your skills depend on your currently selected Persona. Combat works extremely well and is really addicting. And this game has challenge

Otherwise gameplay is pretty simple, you go to school, go around city doing stuff, date with girls, have fun with your bros and explore Tartarus during midnight.

The big part of this hanging around are social links, the more time you spend with someone the better personas of that Arcana you are going to get with Persona fusions. (each social link has its' own arcana and Personas are divided to those arcanas)

Oh and this game has really badass soundtrack.

This game isn't too hard to approach, first 30 minutes are really boring though and it takes while to take things going, but trust me this game is amazing. (not as good as P4 though)

Dissida...is good, fun action pace.

I have all  titles in psp, and played all. I say Persona 3, because it's now cheaper in psn, and it's give you longer fun than the other titles.(I love this 3 game)

Never forget the Disgaeas, and the NIS games. All gives you lot of fun.

I already have Birth By Sleep. I beat it a month or two ago. But, I think Persona 3 is my end choice.
