July 20, 201312 yr I get the dream part and the drop part but what's with the distance?Sora is close but at the same time far away from riku?
July 20, 201312 yr I think the last two hit the nail on the head. I think it's the distance between the two. Y'know, being on two different worlds and all.
July 20, 201312 yr Maybe because Sora and Riku are distanced because Riku's a master now Or they travel far to sleeping worlds Or I don't even know I'm just making stuff up D: that's a good question though! Edit: oh wow everyone beat me to it while I was typing Edited July 20, 201312 yr by Lalalablah
July 20, 201312 yr According to a german Kh-wiki site distance refers to the "distance you fall into when you're dreaming", though I think it's more what has been already said above.
July 20, 201312 yr Popular Post For the title KH3D, we thought it was very clever how the ’3D’ doesn’t just stand for ‘three-dimensional’, but also for the first letter of each of the three words in the subtitle. Nomura: I thought of making it ’3D’ with three D’s early on. However, while I was able to settle on ‘Dream’ and ‘Drop’ smoothly, the last one just wouldn’t come to me. When we were at the point where we had a scenario, ‘Distance’ occurred to me from the distance between Sora and Riku, on the verge of meeting but unable to. There’s one more unsaid meaning behind deciding on ‘Distance’, and that is the distance between ’3D’ and the number 3 itself.
July 20, 201312 yr Its because sora and riku are close to eachother but can't meet cause their in parrell worlds and was also meant to reflect the distance as in 3D in what you see through your 3ds and 3 itself as stated in an interview with Nourma
July 20, 201312 yr Maybe it's the distance Xehanort forced between Sora and Riku. nice that might be it
July 20, 201312 yr Author Oh so it's because Sora and Riku were separated or in other words they were distanced from each other.
I get the dream part and the drop part but what's with the distance?
