Posted July 22, 201312 yr The closest thing I got was salt ice cream and it was actually pretty good.
July 22, 201312 yr There are people online who have made guides and video walkthroughs on methods of making Sea-salt ice cream. It looks totally legit from what I've seen, but it takes very specific ingredients and process. I've promised myself I WILL make it someday though Here's the best and simplest one I've seen:
July 22, 201312 yr I've made it several times and I think it tastes really good! Last time I made it I even has molds so it was more like from KH ^^ And I think it tasted even better like that, though it might also have something to do with that I had made it so many times that I had already learned to make it a little better and that I kept the ice cream in the freezer longer than before. But I really recommend making it. Like Ajexmi said there's a lot of videos of how to make it on youtube and I also found this pretty useful: http://www.food.com/recipe/sea-salt-ice-cream-177919
July 22, 201312 yr I tried once and ruined it nicely. Now I just eat blue pistachio ice cream and call it good.
July 22, 201312 yr I've had some before. Its actually a it better than it sounds. Salt makes EVERYTHING good apparently.
July 22, 201312 yr I know how to make it from youtube videos including the one already posted, but I haven't actually made it yet since I'm always missing something like equipment (blender) or something. And I haven't been to Disneyland Tokyo to get it there. I will probably end up making it one day, apparently it's meant to taste like vanilla with a bit of saltiness
July 22, 201312 yr I've made it a few times already (actually I just made a batch a few days ago) and it's pretty good. It takes some getting used to though because it's a very weird feeling to have it taste salty for 2 seconds then magically turn sweet. My friend tried it for the first time the other day and furiously walked around in circles trying to figure out how to describe it
July 23, 201312 yr They sell some in a Disney Parks of Japan. That's actually where Nomura discovered them.

July 23, 201312 yr I made it once at a friend's birthday party. Though, the pops never froze and we just poured it into a bowl. And the color came out green rather than light blue. But it tasted amazing! I'm planning to make it again, hopefully it will look better.
July 23, 201312 yr Wow! It is I just looked it up on YouTube and found it. The only difference is its white and you eat it with a spoon.
