So, a lot of talk is going around about whether characters like max, goofys son, and Oswald, mickeys half brother, and lightning, a cool final fantasy character

 

Lets assume for a moment that these characters, who ever they are, are going into the kh 3. The big question is...

 

How are they put In to the kh saga, what are there roles in the story? If you got an idea, let it out here

I don't know about the other two but Max could be introduced in Disney Castle while it's under attack by the Heartless!!! He arrives there to see what is happening and at the same time Sora, Donald and Goofy arrive at Disney Castle and they meet him!!!

Generally ff and standard world disney characters dont have a big input on the main plot, but they all have their own sub plots.

 

I can imagine the kids of the main characters could be introduced through visits to their corresponding worlds, and lightning is introduced in a similar way to the rest of the cast of ff characters in kh. Through random occurence.

Max: Dad!?

Sora and Donald: Goofy, you have a son!?

Goofy: Gawrsh, did I forget to mention that?

Imo I don't think any of them should make an appearance in Kingdom Hearts 3...

Lightning would probably be in Olympus Coliseum.

Lightning in RoD with Aqua while Serah is searching for her...RoD would be the equivalent of Valhalla.

after completing her episode she'll give you a special gate

that will let you replay the episodes (worlds) or the bosses only (something like KH3D)

I think Lighting would be in Hollow Bastion along with all the other Final Fantasy characters from past games. But what about Noel if he were in KHIII.

Hang on, who's the character in treasure planet??? Maybe sora crashes into their ship with his gummi ship

I wonder if Serah and Noel might encounter Sora and co., whilst searching for Lightning after she disappeared to Valhalla.  That might be kind of neat, and I could almost picture it in a sense.  Perhaps they would meet in Traverse Town, or some other place similar.

Max I think would be a cool Cameo.  Oswald, the purpose of the character is that he is a forgotten character, leave him as such.  Lightning should die in a fire.  Please please please don't add her. I Know Tetsuya Nomura has a weird hardon for Lightning, so she is pretty much guaranteed, but please no.

I said he is best left as is.  Oswald is a great character, but his purpose now is to rule over the forgotten characters.  We have already a Mickey Mouse flashback level.  Another would just be repetitive.

One word... Nomura

And how would it be a stretch, if anything, it fits, they start out in yen Sids tower, he's a compelling character, and would give added depth to Mickey as a character

Its a stretch because the character already served his purpose.  He doesn't have a movie of his own and they will never give Square rights to the world of Epic Mickey. 

Epic Mickey is Disney, Disney literally fought life and limb to get him back from Warner bros. they would want him to grow and thrive, and if that means giving him a boost through kh 3, they might just do that

Disney hates kingdom hearts.  the only reason they haven't pulled the plug is because of the fanbase and the money it makes them

But they like money, and putting one fanbase with another as only kh can will rake in the dough
