August 9, 201312 yr If I had the money to spare. Personally I'd rather spend my cash as limited as it is on items I could keep than something I'll use once a year right now
August 9, 201312 yr Yea I would, but only as masked figures or robot, cyborgs type of character like Halo Spartans or a Power Ranger.
August 9, 201312 yr I already do and I'll probably never stop. My cosplays aren't the best but all I care about is having fun. A lot of people do it for the skill or photos which is cool, but not something I'd do, so mine are just for fun.

August 10, 201312 yr The closest I've wanted to cosplay just wielding a Keyblade, and mission was accomplished. If that's not really cosplaying, then no I wouldn't. I'd look stupid in comparison to others who would look awesome. Edited August 10, 201312 yr by OmegaForte
August 10, 201312 yr I wanna see a pic.I don't take many pictures of myself but when I get my Yugioh cosplays together I'll be posting a lot of my friends and I.

August 10, 201312 yr If I actually had the money to buy a good costume (my artistic abilities suck, so I could never make one), and there was a character that my body type suited I would certainly like to try. I bet going to a convention in a really good cosplay outfit would be a lot of fun...
August 10, 201312 yr I think it would be fun to do occasionally, BUT I would much rather prefer...Developing my own unique look to be used year round, or until a personal turning point, that is protagonist worthy!

I bet going to a convention in a really good cosplay outfit would be a lot of fun... You don't need a character to match your body type at all! A lot of anime girls have huge boobs, yet I have nothing. That doesn't stop me from not cosplaying as them, hehehe. I once saw an older man, a little on the chunky side dressed up as Misty from Pokemon - he looked nothing like her but he still cosplayed as her! Put all of that appearance stuff out of your head As for the money thing, even setting aside a dollar a day to save up for a costume would be able to get you a REALLY good one. I think it would be fun to do occasionally, BUT I would much rather prefer...Developing my own unique look to be used year round, or until a personal turning point, that is protagonist worthy! You could always try jstreet fashions or cosplay as an OC. I've worn lolita to conventions before and a lot of people wear things like visual kei-inspired outfits. Sure if you're an OC nobody will recognize you, but it'd be unique and personal to you.I would totally cosplay as agito/akito from air gear I ALMOST went as him to my first convention, but I changed my mind last minute and went as Izaya Orihara

The point I was making was that I think it would be more fun to design a OC outfit to be worn year round, than a cosplay for a single day. What's more fun than wearing a costume on special occasions!? Making it your everyday look! lol
August 10, 201312 yr Nah I used to want to when I was younger, but it's not really something I'd be into now.

What's more fun than wearing a costume on special occasions!? Making it your everyday look! lolWhat do you mean year round? By the way, many people don't wear their costumes for a single day, but rather the whole convention (which is usually three days). Sure some people reuse their outfits, but a lot of people prefer to change it up each year because interests change and everything. As much as I would love to wear cosplay every day, I'd honestly get bored of it after a while That and it's not as fun if you're the only one doing it...
August 10, 201312 yr I would like to try it someday. I would be one of those people who would make their own costume because I love making patterns and figuring out how to put everything together. That's half the fun for me. But sadly my old sewing machine broke years ago. It'll be a while until I invest in a new one. So it's not something for me to do now. I would also have to go to conventions, though... I've only been to two in my life

By year round, I mean adopting it into my everyday wardrobe, more so replacing my everyday wardrobe. Though I would have to get something that wouldn't look too silly, but that's what I was saying. But I would be trying to make the look mine as if I owned it. So, it wouldn't be cosplay as much designing a style that I just wear. 0_0 Though I see how dressing up as others every day would get boring.
August 10, 201312 yr I've only cosplayed once as Luffy from One Piece with some friends just for the heck of it. It was just for fun, so we were missing some stuff in our cosplays.

This I would love for me to get my own unique look(as you said protagonist worthy) that other cosplayers try to mimic. That'd be so awesome. I would like to try it someday. I've only been to two in my life Well at least you could make stuff and had at least gone to a convention before.I have 0 artistic talent and i suck at making stuff nor do I have patience .So tell me guys whats a convention like?I wanna go to one but sadly I don't live in the US.

That sounds pretty cool! When I'm having a REALLY bad hair day (because every other day is just a bad hair day) I wear cosplay wigs, and sometimes lolita. Pick a style and get goin'! :DOr even just create your own sub style out of things you like o:
Well... title^I would.
