Terra...finally a Keyblade Master?

Posted

So, do you think after Terra helps kill Xehanort, Yen Sid/Eraqus will name him a Keyblade Master to fulfill his lifelong dream?

I'm also interested in the BBS trio's role in the second saga...It'll be interesting for sure.

I would not be surprised. He more-or-less already is a Master, though, because he has the same abilities as a Master and was able to give Riku the ability to use a Keyblade.

Anyone with a Keyblade can initiate the ceremony.

Anyone with a Keyblade can initiate the ceremony.

Are you sure? That is not the way that I remember it...

Are you already assuming what will happen in KH3?

Wtf are you talking about? Asking a question of a (large) possibility that is very likely to happen is TOTALLY different than assuming something will happen. Why the hell does it matter to you, anyways? Exactly how large is this stick up your ass?

Yes. I played BBS recently and it never said anywhere in the game that Terra or anyone else received a special unique power to initiate a ceremony, so it would logically make sense that anyone can do it.

I'm also pretty sure the ceremony isn't guaranteed to work.

But Eraqus will come out of nowhere and say:NO TERRA,YOU HAVE THAT TINY TINY LITTLE BIT OF DARKNESS WITHIN YOU,YOU DON'T DESERVE TO BE A MASTER

Well,Xehanorts has Dark powers up the ass that Eraqus himself witnessed and he was a master.

Seriously,I feel sorry for Terra

Wait, scratch that, neither Terra nor Sora needs the master rank at all

So far in the series, the master rank is worthless,it doesn't make you anymore powerful(as witness by Terra defeating Eraqus and Sora defeating two incarnations of Master Xehanort:Ansem and Xemnas)nor does it make you anymore intimidating

Sora has saved dozens of worlds that Eraqus couldn't manage to accomplish in his career of sitting his ass in  the Land of Departure

The only benefit you get from being a Master is:your own castle....woobdy f,ucking doo

Not to mention the fact that a lot of people think Terra will die, and even if you think its a large possibility, you are still assuming.

yes anyone that has a keyblade can pass it on though the ceremony which is just simply touching a keyblade which is why kairi can weild one cause she touched aquas keyblade.

also so far the only thing said about being titled master is you that your are entitled to certain info.

No.. He's on Xehanort's side now, they can unleash him, but only in the end ( probably ) he will be free.

I think Lea is going to take Terra's place.

Maybe Master Riku can name him a master as he draws his last breaths. Or maybe Riku can just name him a master. It would be kinda symbolic, since Terra gave Riku the ability to use a Keyblade.

Hmm. I still hope they release him before Xehanort is killed so he can help them and get what he has always dreamed about. It's sad to hear him say that and to see what actually became of him... :[

Dude that's a good idea. A pretty huge fail on Terra's part though, having a 6 year old kid name him master one day...LOL

True enough. I just thought you were being extremely rude to me for absolutely no reason, just for asking if anyone else thought this might happen. It sure did sound like it. I usually try to return the favor.

Considering all that Terra's been through, once he's finally freed he'll do all in his power to redeem himself,(since his descent into darkness practically caused all the other events in KH to ensue.) and after a hard and rough battle, Yen Sid will realize Terra's personal growth and name him a Keyblade Master.  But who knows?  Nomura always has something up his sleeve. O.O

yeah i do

If this is true, then should Leon and Captain Jack Sparrow be able to learn how to use the keyblade since, you know, touched Sora's keyblade?

It's been his life long dream to become a Keyblade Master. Maybe he will be put through the mark of mastery again this time by Yen Sid and hopefully pass.

i would guess so unless there is somehow something missing in the ceremony.

Nope. It's been stated you gotta be chosen by a Keyblade, as well. It's not necessarily a guarantee.

Nope! I think he'll have to conquer his darkness in the next saga. It's not that easy. Destroying Xehanort doesn't mean he will be done with his darkness, he'll have to walk "the road to Dawn"; he'll have to conquer his darkness just like Riku did.

Anyone with a Keyblade can initiate the ceremony.

  • The Keyblade Bequeathing can only be performed by a Keyblade Master, but we see Terra performing this rite with Riku. Does this mean we can consider Terra a Keyblade Master?

Nomura: No. Terra was not awarded that title by his Master, Eraqus, so no matter how Master Xehanort flatters him he is not a Keyblade Master. But that’s just a matter of whether or not he’s achieved the official title. Even Eraqus recognized that Terra possessed suitable power to be a Master, which is why he was able to perform the rite for Riku.

Nope. It's been stated you gotta be chosen by a Keyblade, as well. It's not necessarily a guarantee.

That makes sense.

Frankly, no. Out of all the people running around with Keyblades, I think that Terra is probably the one who's earned it the least. He hasn't done anything particularly master-esque. Especially when compared to Sora and Riku. I know I rag on Riku an awful lot for nearly destroying the world, but in spite of my constant bitching, I do think he's more or less earned his keep. The running around he did in Days and KH2 showed him actively trying to use his powers for good, and DDD shows him actively taking back control of his life, ceasing to live in the past, and being able to move forward. Terra has never had any development like that. Or development of any kind. Or really done much of anything except mope and feel sorry for himself. He wandered around aimlessly for most of BBS, and pouted. Once he actually DOES something constructive, maybe.

i wouldnt consider him a master yet into he defeats master xehanort on his own if anyone helps him then i dont think he would i mean it should be consider * His fight only * * Master xehanort Vs Terra showdown *
