I know a lot of people are excited for FFXV, but does anyone think it could actually be one of the greatest games ever made?

It has been set up to have one of the best gameplay mechanics ever, and so far it seems like one of the best storylines ever.

There is no doubt this game is going to be epic, but does anyone actually believe this could become your favourite game?

It will definitely be one of my favourites but I have a feeling it could actually become my favourite game/series, taking over Kingdom Hearts.

 

It is hard to think I would actually like a game better than KH, but when you think about it only Nomura could really make a game better than KH.

Well, it certainly will be an excellent game (I hope). But as for whether it'll be my favorite game... I'll have to get back to you on that. I'll have to play the game first.

There is a lot more aspects to a game then just its gameplay.

Fool. But to boil it down, we like video games because it is an interactive media. It has to be fun to play, or else it will fail.

Actually it wouldnt suck for FFVII fanboys, because they stated if another FF does better then VII, they will make a VII remake. So FFVII fanboys would probably be more excited then us lol.

Easy. Gotta remember there is a lot of hype for this game, and it will be on the Xbox One as well.

I'm mostly excited for the return to the classic era with the open world concept I think it'll be my favorite single game.

You think that it will make FF one of your favorite series again? I dont know, since you dont like any of the FF games past X, especially XIII. Unless the future FF games take after the good aspects of XV, i dont think you'd like it.

I still like FF, I just hate how it is now. Its just the realisation that FF is dead more than anything. And by that I dont mean no more games I just mean FF will never be how it used to be. Im not an idiot I have already realised FF games will never go back to how it used to be. Im just glad FF is going into the direction of KH, it could have been a lot worst and they made FF a FPS or something Also I do like FFXII, havnt really gotten into FF online but I might get XIV:RR soon. I will give LR a try but I will never like XIII

Well,it depends on the final product,and while the E3 trailer renewed my already dead hype

 

I won't over hype myself So when FFXV pull a Duke Nukem forever on us I won't be terribly shocked.

 

But it's still the only next gen game that I'm looking forward to the most and it's the reason I'll get a Ps4

Both games have infamously long development cycle.

 

When the development of a game takes more than 7 YEARS...you know something has happened

it seems like it's going to be amazing and might even take over the #1 spot for my top favorite games but i think it has allot of chance for failure as well so i'm  not going to get my hopes up 

Of course it will be the best Final Fantasy ever. Kingdom Hearts 3 will take the series to a whole new level as will Final Fantasy 15 with its series. Both these projects have been spoken of as legends and Nomura knows exactly what to do. He has every fan in the world (including us) where he wants us to be so we won't be disappointed.
