Has anyone thought of that possibility? The Muppets are owned by Disney after all and we know that at least one KH3 world will be an unusual choice so it's not impossible. They could have a world based on London from Muppet Christmas Carol (Scrooge is referred to as 'Mr. Heartless' in the opening song) though that might be confusing seeing as Donald's uncle is also named and based on Scrooge. Or a world based on Muppet Treasure Island, though that would make it the third Disney world to include pirates. I don't know if it would actually work or not having Muppets turned CGI either but anyway it's just a thought. It might happen but it probably won't. 

But only Super Grover.

Grover is Sesame Street not Muppets.

He doesn't regularly show up in the movies or anything, but Grover is a Muppet. I was half-joking, anyway.

Yea. He is. But I meant, as the OP meant, the series The Muppets, which Grover isn't part of. But I do find it weird that the only character able to switch between these two series is Kermit. That's very unfair to every other Muppet.

 

Edit: Also showing Kermit, the only muppet in both muppet series, ability to switch from series to series.

Ooh good Idea besides Having Star Wars, Marvel, and Indiana Jones in Kingdom Hearts 3 why not have The Muppets in Kingdom Hearts III.

I would like the theater that the Muppets perform in to be a world where you need to stop the heartless from demolishing the theater and find the Rainbow Connection.  And just for laughs:

No this is not a very good idea in all honesty. It doesn't fit at all with the rest of the series in any conceivable way. This is similar to people who wanted MLP (seriously?!) or Marvel (too mature) in there as well. It would not only ruin Kingdom Hearts, but the respective title itself as well. We need to leave these decisions up to the developers. They actually have an idea of what would work.
