Let me just say I agree with you.  I for one loved the gameplay, even if it's in development and may not be in the final product.  Nomura is a master of surprise, so I'm sure he'll provide a thrilling adventure for us in KH3!

They are still complaining? In a way it bothers me, because they been demanding 3 for the longest and Square Enix starts making things under development and they are complaining and such. Its like its being made, they get excited, and when they see something that is (of what you said: "Still in DEVELOPMENT!"), its like they are saying "I don't like it. I wish for something else instead.". I love what I see from them regardless of what people are saying about it.

I didn't think KH1 was amazing....

Even for a work in progress it was not satisfying at all. They didn't have to show us that, they could have waited until it was ready, until they were ready. Nomura himself even stated the team was highly unsatisfied with their own work on the gameplay.  I honestly feel like they're being rushed and have to put in all this unnecessary silly stuff to make it look exciting. (i.e. Disney Rides and Attractions).

 

I've been a KH fan since it's beginning and honestly, having to wait the majority of the series' existence really lowers my expectations and excitement.  However, the longer the wait, the better the game.  That being said, Nomura's making unbroken promises to have something to show, thus speeding the process of development, which lead to the gameplay we've been given.  If we've gotta wait, then why rush things out the door?

Look, here's how it goes:  Some of us are being labelled here for having opposing opinions.  For me, it's not a rant, it's an important step in processing the information I've received for a series that I love.  My problem is, I dun like what I received, I never pushed for it, just patiently waited and yet, I have to put up with those that did push for it.  

Ungrateful, no appreciation, blah blah blah, etc.  I see this and think, "Wow, why are we, who love our series and want to see something great come out of it, being put down like scum just because we didn't want to see what others pushed for?"  Come on, people, it's not KH3 these so called rants are specifically about, it's the fan base, the pushing, the whining, the crying...I'm not looking for a forced game, I'm looking for a great experience.  Nomura can't make that experience if he feels the need to rush out these silly WIP gameplay clips, that even his own team is unsatisfied with,out the door.  The fan base has been pushing hard since day one of the original announcement, and that's highly intimidating for a game developer. I wanna see something great come out of it, not what I've seen so far, so I just sit back and wait patiently to see what he can bring to me, but that can't exactly happen if the smaller percentage is waiting and the majority of our base is rushing the developers.

If your problem is that people are pushing for Nomura to release this stuff, then I wholeheartedly agree. (Although, from what I hear, it was SE that pushed for it) Actually, I thought the problem was that you were upset at the gameplay ITSELF which would be completely unfair. Seeing as how that's not the case, I can agree with you, Vexoria.
