Posted November 15, 201311 yr Love love love her character, but b!tch needs to go. I just hope she makes her way back to the great relevance she held in the first game. Her cameo in DDD tells me she's far from through with her plans yet.
November 15, 201311 yr I hope she stays for a while personally. And I completely agree, she needs to regain relevance.
November 15, 201311 yr I hope she never goes away. In fact, I know it won't happen, but I hope she become a good guy, or at least neutral.
November 15, 201311 yr Maleficent was meant to be the final boss in KH1 since audiences liked her so much (before she got replaced with Ansem SoD). She'll probably become our comedic rival, we're always fighting, always causing trouble, always dealing with, and mysteriously always returns to be an annoyance. Like Pete is Mickey Mouse, Mojo jojo is to the Power Puff Girls, etc While I can't see her going anywhere soon I honestly wouldn't mind her leaving.
November 15, 201311 yr I'm still hoping for Maleficent to come out of left field at the end, just as Kingdom Hearts appears, then takes down Xehanort and claims Kingdom Hearts for herself. Because I believe her character is cagey enough to pull that move off: out planning the master planner.
November 15, 201311 yr I don't know. This may be the end of her on 3... Edited November 18, 201311 yr by RikuFangirl2008
November 15, 201311 yr Disney characters don't die. They last forever because of Disney magic. Haven't you seen the part where Goofy takes a fatal blow to the head and lives Edited November 15, 201311 yr by Venxas24
November 18, 201311 yr Author Wellllll, the Goofy thing is a little different and I think we all know that. I think that if the Disney character in question HAS already died in their respective movies, then they are free game. (Ergo, Jafar is dead. Ursula is dead. Oogie Boogie is dead. Scar is dead. Etc. etc. etc.) Not saying they can't be revived, because Lord knows everybody gets at least one.
November 19, 201311 yr Her and Pete are kinda like how Jessie and James are in Pokemon; you can't have Kingdom Hearts without them causing trouble every now and then.
November 19, 201311 yr I'm still wondering how she came back in the first place. (And Ursula, for that matter) According to the wiki, she was revived by the power of the three fairies' memories of her but that's just weird and has never really come up since then, afaik. She lost her heart, what do memories have to do with that? It's not like with Kairi who had a pure heart of light and has some sort of exception. The fairies have normal hearts, regardless of magical abilities. And even if that was a good enough reason, that still doesn't explain Ursula. But whatever. Edited November 19, 201311 yr by Kaweebo
November 20, 201311 yr Author Yeah, they kind of let that one go by the wayside and used "Disney Imagination Magic" to hope we wouldn't think about it again. I know I shouldn't care, it's a game, but revivals without explanation really bug me. Like, if basic rules of existence can be whisked away so easily, who's to say that anyone else can't just be "remembered" back to life? After that clip when I first played the game, I just went ".......wut?", and then hoped they would explain it. Nope. That was 8 years ago. Still confused.
