Kingdom Hearts 2.5 and 1.5 bundle for......Xbox 360?!

I know, I know. "KH HD is supposed to stay PS3/PS4" I get that, however I own an Xbox 360 and envy you people like hell! I wants it too but I'm not going to buy a new-ish console over it. I have my ps2, all the KH games, yet I'm not satisfied. I want to be able to play it on a console I've had for the past 3-4 years. I had the same ordeal with SW:Battlefront 1, yeah I had it for my ps2 but I wanted availability. So, I got it for the Xbox 360. I want the same for KH HD, I know I'm not alone out there. As for Kingdom Hearts III, I'm getting a trilogy bundle if it releases with one, no matter how much it is! As for consoles, my brothers got X1's and they are awesome tools. The ability to record gameplay on the fly using the very much better updated Kinect is fantastic! The graphics are amazing (only have BF4 right nowP, the massive memory unit is handy and the media is awesome. I'd love to get one, but I want to try a PS4 before I make my decision.

FINAL FANTASY and Kingdom Hearts HD Collections aren't released on Xbox. They'd probably have to downscale them to 576p.

Console exclusives can really suck sometimes. I still need to get a PS3 for the HD Collections. If they made a Wii U version, I'd buy those in a heartbeat, though. I'm still fine with playing on PS3, I just kinda wish that they made a way for a broader audience to play the games. I've got friends who can't get certain consoles for various reasons, and can't play the KH games no matter how much they really want to. It really sucks that they're being denied the ability to play such a fantastic game series. I know that the numbered games are best on Playstation, but it'd be nice if the rest of the fans could have some way to play them too.

Square Enix do seem to release it on the next generation of the console it's originally from.

A ps3 can be picked up for under 200 nowadays. It's not necessary to pick up a new one. I got lucky and picked up a preowned ps3 for $150 and a battlefield 3 copy for free, and it's still working as great as ever.

 

And besides, one of the main reasons Square Enix is releasing KH3 and FFXV on Xbone is because it has the same component/software the PS4 has. The direct x11 or something like that. This will allow Square Enix to publish any game into a console with that particular component/software. Since the xbox 360, and ps3 didn't have those components/software, it was deemed impossible to import over. That's one of the reasons why you don't see KH games on xbox 360, because it requires rewriting the engine (or something similar).

Another reason (which I can't confirm, I heard from an official source somewhere, just bear with me on this), is that SE and Microsoft had a contract that stated that SE will not release any KH game onto Xbox platform, but now the contract is over, they can go ahead and release KH games on Xbox platforms.

 

I can't see SE reworking the whole 2 collections to place onto the Xbox 360, so what you see is what you get. I know how you feel. I have the xbox as well, but I was pressured to buying the xbox by my idiotic friend who then got rid of the xbox few months later cause of multiple RRoD's he had in the past couple of years back in middle school. If you still want to play KH HD games, you have to save up money and get a PS3. If you rather play the original games, be my guest and enjoy those games until KH3 comes out. Do what you want to do.

It's not big and expansive like KH or FF.  I'd bet you right now it would cost Square more to make 360 collections because the horribly small amount of space on 360 discs would require them to put the collections on more than one disc, which costs a lot for small budget projects. Dun get me wrong though, I'm not against it, but I'm just pointing out some possible reasoning to not having a HD collection set on the 360.

360 discs only have about 8 GBs. Also GTA 5 had two discs lol. Maybe those other discs were dual-layer or something, but that obviously is a little more expensive

360 had 2 discs for GTA V one for the 8GB install, the other to play your installed game on.  My cousin got it for his 360 and for a minute, I was confused on the whole two discs until I read the discs. In fact, Rockstar's done two discs for 360 since Red Dead Redemption and it cost them 3 discs to fit L.A. Noire on the 360.

 

XIII-2 and Lightning Returns are shorter and have less content than FFXIII did in order to make up for the two discs thing. Square and Rockstar have both complained about this.

Woah woah woah.... I like 360 more than PS3. I have a PS3 but only use it for KH. I played Uncharted 3 and honestly I could only play through it once. To me it lacked replay value. 360 does has a major hold on the online hold. The PS3 is less user friendly than the 360 and I would rather play Halo than any other PS exclusive. Heck the only reason for me to get a PS4 was for KH3 if it wasn't coming to the XB1, but then that happened.

 

With that said I wish they would put it on the 360, but I know they won't.

To me 360 is not full of good exclusive rpgs or heavy story based games. Like every time I see someone playing 360 they only play one type games, which are FPS. For example it's Halo, Gears and CoD, sure CoD isn't a exclusive but those are the only games I see people play on the 360
